They said the prime rib is no longer on the menu but they will give it to you if you ask. PLEASE bring it back, it’s a staple! Love the darkness of the restaurant and the comfiness of the booths. Edmond “Ed” H. was our server and he was fantastic! Friendly, quick, and made sure we were always taken care of! He never let our drinks run out, explained all specials, drinks and other options very clearly and thoroughly (Champagne Balsamic was great btw!), and checked on us the perfect amount of times! Food was great, but service made the night for sure! Service at the Lewis location is sub-par at best but we will gladly be back to BA, thanks to Ed! Very nice meal from salads, oven roasted chicken, pork chops and burgers. Very good serving size. Our service was timely and accurate. Management came to make sure our meals were good. Our server Roxanne took excellent care of us. Relaxed very comfortable atmosphere. Would definitely come again. Charleston's Restaurant located right on Lake Bass Pro, had a little of this and a little of that, if you know what I mean. Let's start with the restrooms. 1st class all the way starting with the TV set behind the mirror so you can watch the game while washing your hands. The menu had a good spread of american cuisine. A little seafood, some steak and the rest. Enough to satisfy a party of picky eaters. I had the shrimp scampi over a bed of angels, Caesar salad and a piece of red velvet cake. The Caesar was okay, the dressing wasn't as cream as I am accustomed to but the main dish had a larger helping of shrimp to make up for my salad's short coming. Then the red velvet cake was large and in charge. I could have technically shared it but I devoured it with a couple large swings in my Fork. Welp I did it. I went to Charlestons to try the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, and glazed carrots. It was delicious and fresh, nice crunch on the breading the mashed potatoes ARE REAL an smothered in a delicate gravy. The glazed carrots still had a bite to them but cooked thru. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. My con: The breading immediately fell of the steak did not stick at all and was a bit chewy an I would have liked more gravy. Our server was amazing and we had a table of 12! Best customer experience ever! It was my birthday and the ballon’s went to the celling and the staff helped get them down! Excellent lunch experience - delicious fresh salads, friendly service, relaxed atmosphere. Full bar. Our lunches were served pretty quickly by in a relaxed mode which allowed us to get on our way but still enjoy a delicious lunch. Large servings. Rolls were delicious. Clean restrooms. We have been going to Charleston's for years and have never once had a bad experience. The food is always out of this world, service is top notch, and atmosphere is lovely. We splurged and got the bread pudding last time and it was the best dessert I have ever had! I ordered a Togo order curbside. Both people who greeted me were great! The food was ready when I got there. I had the baked chicken with baked potato and veggies. I also bought a soup and salad for later and a basket of croissants. The croissants were perfect. Both buttery and flaky. The baked chicken was seasoned well and not over cooked. The potato and veggies were average. The loaded potato soup and house salad with honey mustard were amazing. Both meals definitely very filling.
