What a surprise to find such an interesting restaurant in the industrial area of Potchefstroom. The fusion style menu is an interesting and extensive. We ordered a combined starter platter, and it was very tasty. Make sure to read the descriptions though - the rocket balls have no rocket in them. The chorizo and carpaccio rolls were delicious, as were the rocket balls (flamed at the table). The service was excellent from when we entered. We especially loved the eclectic vibe. Diner / steakhouse / grill / industrial, with really cool music. The t-bone steak was slightly tough, but very tasty. Bao buns and cheese wheel pasta are highly recommended. If I could give this restaurant 0 stars I would. I ordered the bao buns and they charged me R100 for 2 bao buns. Pathetic considering that woolworths sells 8 for R80. After bringing this to the attention of the owner he got rude and aggressive towards me and my party, while I was calm throughout the interaction. I will never be back and I recommend you not to spend your money here. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Chapter 2 is a fantastic restaurant away from the hustle and bustle of student life, that offers amazing food at very affordable prices. The staff are very friendly and add to the whole experience. I had a great T-Bone steak at an affordable price and I was ready to roll home after that decadent meal. A must if you life in Potchefstroom. Price per person R 100–150 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

By far the Best Restaurant in Potchefstroom!!! The menu is unique in its offering and the steaks are the best there is. Thanks Julian, we always have a good time when visiting and your food quality and consistency is spot on every time…”give that man a bells” or a Mad Giant Larger! Very rude owner at Chapter 2 after concern raised about portion size of a meal. Two Items on the menu was not available ( Sprite and ice tea). Pictures shared on the internet bring you under the impression that you get 4 boa buns if ordered. You actually only get two. We really weren't bad/rude costumers but we were told by the owner that we could all just leave..? We were in good spirits when we arrived. We actually paid the whole account after we stayed to finish the meal. We left with a bitter taste in the mouth after the way we were treated. Koebaai Chapter 2. NEVER AGAIN! We were a group of people that wanted to celebrate a birthday at chapter 2. For most of us this was a first experience. Only one of the group members raised a concern about portion size, and was polite in the way the issue was brought up.We bought 2 Bao buns for R100 and Woolworths sell them 8 For R85, also Huamin sell them 6 for R60. Just to put this in perspective. The meat was only pulled pork and not wagyu which would make a lot more sense and the size was very small, nothing spectacular. The owner was very rude and said we can all leave. He didnt even try to politely solve the issue. This was very insulting and we decided that this was our first and last time there. If I was the owner, I'd handle it a lot better. We didn't appreciate his horrible tone. Also I want to mention that we treated the staff with kindness at all time and we even paid the laughable price, after being rudely said we can all leave even though only ONE RAISED A CONCERN, and did so kindly. The price wasn't the final issue, it was the horrible attitude we received. If you want people to respect you kindly rather go somewhere else. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

It was a Monday night and miserably cold In Potchefstroom. The venue is open air, but with a roof cover...we given blankets when we arrived which was a nice touch. Staff were pleasant and professional. A good selection of wines and reasonably priced. They didn't have the bubbles we wanted, but that does happen in business, so we were not fazed. Very nice menu. We shared a Ostrich Carpaccio... Very good... Unusually served with parmigiana...not the powdered stuff. It could done with a drizzle of olive oil....but was still very good...I could have asked for the olive oil, but was happy with... My partner ordered the rib eye and I ordered the sirloin (Satchmo). I ordered medium and partner medium rare. The steak could stayed on the grill a bit longer, but we did gobble it down...and it was tasty. We did not send back to be grilled a bit more...it was not necessary. I'm not so sure about the feta sauce, but that is me. A real plus was the music...finally a place got it right...lovely mix of jazz. Really a treat... I merely mention the little hiccups for pointers, but really it was really good evening and little things are really not in anyway even an issue..and beside the cold the ambience was lovely. We will go back again...and certainly can recommend this restaurant. There is a place for smokers, my partner smokes so a plus for him...but I couldn't care less if there was no space. Not pretentious and really worth going out in the cold....a huge pity is that I did not take pictures as I usually do. Oh and I did not mention the beers... even though we did not have my next visit will be in afternoon on a hot day to sample.... Thanks to the staff for putting up with us... We were the last to leave... And they remained courteous.... Price per person R 350–400 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
