A must to visit place if you like grilled fresh fish! Very authentic with a grill in the street, friendly service personal and fair prices (i paid 13 euros for olives, a beer and three fishes with potatoes and salad). As improvement they could offer a lunch menu for 8 euros.

The staff are great,the owner lady was rude and racist atitude. on Friday the 1st I went there with my 2 son and my sister to get a takeaway soup,at 8 pm,the lady owner,say straight that the soup was sold out.I was very suprised because, is the busy time for dinner time in Portugal.The restaurant have 2 entrance I went to other other entrance and I asked the male staf if they have soup,he straight said yes we do,but I need to do the order in the other side,the side that the lady owner say that the soup was sold out. then she saw me again and was suprise.And I told her she need to be careful because people is stupid. For sure,if I have a different skin colour she give the different treatment. Infortunatly this stuation is very uncomfortable and inacept in nowadays. We are in 2023 and still with white previlege. Excellent Portuguese food! Very traditional restaurant with great food. Everything was good: grilled sardines, seabas with potatos, ameijoas. In the end, have a ginjinha and coffee at the bar with Mr Carlos, the owner. We had a great time. Meal type Lunch Price per person €30–35 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Simple yet very tasty food, friendly staff, reasonable prices, I cannot recommend this place enough! Try the ameijoas and sardinhas. Also, ask for the white house wine on the tap, perfect to accompany the fish dishes!
