Great little family restaurant. The Menu is awesome with a very wise selection from classic American dishes to the sort of thing you'd have as a home cooked meal. Will always be something for everyone. The service is quick and the atmosphere is cozy. Took our daughter here for her 12th birthday(her request) and only have the best things to say. The food was great,I had beef liver and onions, and it was amazing. Kudos to the chef,our waitress made the occasion by leading the busy breakfast crowd in singing Happy Birthday to our daughter,her skills as a waitress were second to none, as well. Can't wait to make this our go-to Sunday spot after Church. Keep up the great work!!! Me and a friend had lunch there yesterday (12/09), and we were both pleased and full when we left. I had the Rib special with Fries and Cole Slaw...fantastic! My friend had a Club Sandwich and Fries, the Sandwich was so big he had to ask for a "to-go" container and he is a big eater. He too was more than satisfied. I'll definitely be back. The staff are so friendly and the atmosphere screams welcome home. This is the one place where you can feel comfortable and safe, while having real Iowa comfort food. From the fried chicken to the open face sandwiches, they pretty much have it all. As well, be prepared for a tasty dessert with homemade pies that will remind you of Nana's house on Sunday afternoons. I have never had anything that I didn't like. Prices very affordable. Waitress did an excellent job but like everyone else could use more help. Really like the remodel they did. Looks brighter and more room. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

The staff were very friendly and quick with things! Food was good but could have used a little more flavor. The place is open so it does get a little loud but it has kind of a homey feel. The prices are very reasonable and it is definitely a good option for Sunday morning breakfast! Eat from there often,usually take out. My favorite food is the hot turkey sandwich. Have taken many friends there. HOWEVER, on February 15th instead of nice turkey breast slices, I got nasty thigh meat, stringy, and ugly parts that should have been in the scrap pile. VERY disappointed! Love this place, when we went it was super busy, no place to park, we waited 10 minutes to sit down and got our food faster than I thought, got the chicken fried steak as always Lol, it was delicious!
