We had a great first time visit to a CAVA. The restaurant here is a new location with easy parking right near all the great places in Alliance Town Center. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was generous portions and we enjoyed each of our dishes. The bowl and a Pita is what we tried and was happy with each. We were pleased with being able to pick and add in what we wanted and customized options. We liked that it was fresh ingredients and the grilled chicken had excellent flavor. This location and food is amazing! We’ve eaten here a few times and I am so open to trying the different bowls and pitas. Delicious and healthy blend of flavors throughout the station. WOW!!!!! From the minute I walked in I was greeted with so much enthusiasm and kindness! Me and my friend have never been here and they walked me through everything and gave great suggestions! Came in and had to wait a long time for fresh steak. I was absolutely starving too. The staff was so kind about it and offered me a drink while I waited. When I finally got my food it was so good I inhaled it. I was so impressed with the customer service, you just don’t get that anymore. I really appreciated it. 2nd trip here. Did everyone get the same training here? First trip, food was excellent...but this time things were a bit sloppy. The young lady was upset because I didn't want her handling my food with her bare hands...I respectfully told here that I preferred gloves. I ordered the same spicy chicken Avocado pita as before. It was horrible. I'm guessing it depends on who is serving that day. Please find that fine tuned consistency when serving the products. I value my money, and don't like to waste it. Update: on 10/27/2023 around 6pm-I went in for the first time since my original review. I’m updating this review to a 4 star from a two star because drinks are now being prepared before the drivers are picking up the orders. One drink was already prepared and the employee, Shelby, who was making the to-go orders made three more drinks while I waited for the order I was picking up. Kudos to management for correcting their protocol without responding to my review with an unnecessary, scripted response like other restaurants have on my reviews. ******************* Employee not following a health protocol. On Sunday, October 8, 2023, the last half hour before closing I went in to pick up an order. As I walked in I watched the employee place the order and an empty cup on the pick-up shelf. I immediately told her, delivery drivers are not allowed to ‘prepare’ drinks. She said ok, walked over and spent 15 seconds preparing the drink and handed it to me and walked off. Typically, the employees are very gracious, friendly and welcoming and always prepares the drinks when I ask with the best customer service. Not this one, she made it visibly clear she wasn’t happy to make the drink which is what prompted this review. Management: The Tarrant County Health Department requires all employees who work in the food industry to take a food and health class to certify they are educated in all safety protocols which include preparing food and DRINKS. Only certified employees can prepare food and DRINKS with properly clean hands or gloves. Delivery drivers are not employees of Cava and should not prepare drinks for one, but two, they are unable to properly clean their hands prior to preparing drinks. By having them prepare drinks is a violation of the health code and can be reported as such. Also, you have paid employees to ‘prepare’ drinks. Stop passing on that duty to delivery drivers/complete strangers to prepare drinks for your pre-paid customers. They don’t get paid to prepare, only to pick up and deliver by a third party company, not by you. Not one customer in your restaurant when I walked in and all employees were cleaning except for the employee preparing the order and she had the nerve to have an attitude for doing her job and meeting the health departments safety protocols. If I walk in there again and see an empty cup with the order I’m picking up, it will be reported to Tarrant County. Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person $10–20 Service: 4
