Fish-oriented (maybe, fish-only) restaurant. Based on locally catched fresh fish. The staff is very nice, the place is cosy and informal. So great grilled fish and normal side dishes. But, the downside is that it is a bit expensive for what we get; so for two kids (4 and 12) plus two adults we ordered 3 fishes (2 sargos and 1 parguete)... potatoes, salad and water for drinking plus 3 deserts came to an amount of 75eur. A great thumbs up for the water bottles; reusable glass and filtered on-site.
We stopped by here on a Friday and the waitress, Ofélia, was helpful and friendly! They served us appetizers immediately. We had olives, fresh cheese, bread, and mackerel. We ordered a grilled turbot with potatoes and it was amazing! For desert, we order a lactose free chocolate cake called Black Forest. The restaurant itself is beautiful and feels homey. A bit on the pricey side, but overall, amazing experience, definitely recommend!
Omg the best place in Setubal to munch down food. The fish is amazing, fresh from the ocean 🌊 The food tastes great 🙃 The owner is friendly and nice. The cafe got nice ambience too. And the best part is the cafe itself looks like a little garden house with losta and bunnies and colorful wall. Highest of recommendations to this place 🤗
If you are fish lover then this place is for you, I had quite a busy morning and by the time I sat down to lunch at 1.00pm I was very hungry, starters was a soft goats cheese with artisan bread and garlic Olives and filleted Mackeral with parsley onion, olive oil, which was fantastic, for mains I had house red wine with tiger Prawns, followed by Barbecued Madagascan languistines which were out of this world, followed by galia melon with chopped pecan nuts with Blueberry ice cream, wrapped up with great coffee and brandy, an amazing gastronomic delight, 5 stars, Luis the owner and staff are attentive and helpful, will definitely going back to this one
the outdoor seating area is quirky and fun, but the quality of the food here is very low and the prices are high. Don't make the basic mistake of letting the owner pretend to be your friend and sell you the fish he wants to get rid of, not telling you the price beforehand. you'll get something that's not fresh or well-cooked at a ridiculous price. Avoid this place.
The owner of the restaurant stated that there is no fish anymore. We asked for drinks, he refused to serve drinks only. It was the final European cup game so we accepted whatever food he has so we can watch. However, we asked for the menu to see the prices of these starters, and before we knew it he just brought us THE LEFTOVERS he had which were going to the garbage. The starters were very overpriced considering they were leftovers. The sad thing is that he made it seem that he made us a favor because we were hungry and he fed us. But we only wanted to sit for the game. Our mistake was that we didn't send back the salty sardine starter when he brought it and not requesting the price and the nature/quantity of the food, before accepting to sit in his restaurant. Never again. Really bad experience.
A very agreeable place for seafood. Visited in Sumner for sardinhas assadas. For the summer it's a covered patio. The temperature was very agreable. The service was very nice. The sardines and the sides were wonderful. Worth a positive recommenaation, of course.

Doesnt have a view, but it has one of the best and most entertaining outdoor dinning room, with live animals that you can contact with. I havent been a long time here, but I used to be a regular.
Fish is generally good, occasionally you can have less enjoyable dishes - the fish isnt ALWAYS fresh, as it is impossible. It has a wide variety of fish.
Sides are good, as well as the appetizers. Usually drank beer here, which I recall to be particularly tasty and cold. Desserts and meat dishes can be taken without any fears or complains.
Staff is very pleasant. The owner is a really funny and friendly man. The only downs are the prices which could be a little less expensive (+40.and sometimes +45€ for 3), considering other equally good restaurants concerning fish (mid ranging 25€ to 35€ depending on what you eat).
If you are a regular, you wont be usually recognized as one, as you pay usually the same (some other places usually dont charge entries or drinks as a way of appreciating customer loyalty).
PS: Escrevi a review em inglês, porque muitos estrangeiros usam isto como guia.
