Again introduced to this gem by a friend of ours that lives in the area. Awesome food, attentive staff and really chilled atmosphere. I had the steak with mushroom sauce and they were only to happy to add some pepper sauce to the side. My hubby and friend had their codfish and equally enjoyed. Their presentation was attractive. The food was as fresh as if it had been locally picked that day. This establishment can also be so proud of the food they feed their community as well as all the visitors. Food was excellent here! I only gave them 4/5 because if you stay on the terrace outside the service is a little clunky. I had to go in and ask for a waiter. We did dine in during lunch and the place was almost full. Once the waiter arrived everything went smooth. The food is 5/5, prices are really good and platters are huge! The atmosphere was great. Good food, some of the best calamari I've had! I really enjoyed the poncha tropical. The restaurant has plenty of space, the service is on the level. I liked the dessert menu - the waiter brought all the available desserts on a platter and told us about them. We ordered the chocolate cheesecake, it was very good. We stumbled upon this place while we were in Camara de Lobos and we are not sorry! The food was absolutely delicious! And the dishes we ordered were huge! Many varieties of fish food, very fresh and perfectly cooked! The delivery was medium, meaning we had to wait a little but it was worth it. Had a late lunch at Casa do Farol. Had the picado do carne and scabbard fish . Both were very good. Theirs 2 sizes of the picado do carne. Waiter told us not to order the larger one , and he was right. The std size was big. The scabbard fish is very lightly breaded and tasted really good. First time trying it , and we will definitely eat it again. We were on the patio , but they have a very nice indoor setup. 2 seperate sides with lots of character. Theirs 2 seperate menus also. A lunch menu which is what we ordered from and the dinner menu. Keep in mind that they have 2 menus here. The lunch menu and the dinner menu. They will often give you the dinner menu. Really great little restaurant. Vibrant and welcoming. The food is very good. Particularly like the peppered steak. The deserts are super yummy 😋. Also the local Maderia brandy is super smooth. Highly recommended if you are in Camara de Lobos. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had some very nice food and wine here for a very reasonable price. The service was OK, although I felt that the servers were a little bit sad or preoccupied. Delicious food, large servings, great (and speedy service) and reasonable prices. Lovely outside seating area. Really enjoyed our meal! We had: - garlic bread (recommend it! Definitely high calories given how much butter they put, but so delicious! I prefer it to a typical Italian garlic bread); - Caesar salad (it has bacon in it but no anchovies. Sauce is very heavy…mayonayish. I did not like it, will probably suggest you skip it) - fish and seafood on a skewer (served with sweet potato and salad) and - steak with pepper sauce (served with salad and chips).
