I love their coffee... their muffins and bread are kirkland brand so that's just OK... I asked for a fruit salad early in the morning and that didn't have enough fruit. An airy, clean, and comfortable café to come spend your mornings or afternoons reading the paper, checking your email, or catching up with friends over the most delicious coffee or hot chocolate drinks. Parisian style balconies and impeccable bathrooms top it all of. Have made it here on numerous occasions to work on my dissertation, does not disappoint. Enjoy! Price per person $1–100

Great coffee for a great price! Best coffee I had in Guanajuato. Bought a bag of beans to take home. Will definitely be back next time I go to Guanajuato. Both locations are nice, the one near the center is busier than the one along Paseo de La Presa. At least when I was there. Location at Paseo de La Presa has a great rooftop terrace!

Hi Greg! First time to La Presa Tal. Bright and sunny, no umbrellas were set up, but still nice. We sat in a little balcony on piso 1 and it was perfect. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $1–100

2 cafes on same street. Both excellent espresso. The downtown cafe is old & no roof seating. Newer cafe with roof umbrellas which hold stagnant water - breeds mosquitoes. Zika heaven. Please drain the water!

THE neighborhood hang out! And for good reasons. THE BEST coffee in GTO. Ask anyone and Café Tal will be the first utterance. Coffee drinks are prepared with detailed consistency. Rich with fine chocolates and depth of roasted coffee beans. A minimal menu, but all items of high quality with croissants, muffins, and a delightful fresh fruit/yoghurt plate to name a few. The owner ,Greg, runs a fine business with many employees having worked for him for a long time. Always a great sign. We are beyond fortunate to have his business in our neighborhood.

This Cafe Tal it's very nice for reading or study cause there are not too much people. The staff it's very nice and coffee and deserts too. They have a nice terrace with nice views, only some times it's too much sun (weather issues though and they have umbrellas).
