Good food, good prices, lovely atmosphere Despite not-so-great reviews, we chose to have lunch here and didn't regret it for a second (I can't understand why it received such low ratings). It's a delightful spot on a quiet street, a peaceful oasis far from the bustle of the bazaar. The place looks authentic and clean. The food was delicious—we had swordfish tanjia and fried calamari with french fries—and it arrived quickly. The service was on point, with attentive and friendly staff. Prices were more than reasonable considering the quality of the ingredients. They also make a really good nus-nus. I highly recommend it! I came to Essaouira with one thing on my mind. Get some fresh seafood. And there it is – a whole plate of fish, calamari, and shrimp. Yeah, sure, I got way better in Italy or Croatia, but I wanted it so badly that it tasted really good. Take my review with a grain of salt – I was biased by my own wish. And it was the only restaurant I tried in this town, so there is nothing to compare it to. Almost forgot, it is not expensive. Decent food for a really good price. I had seafood couscous for the first time and it was very nice. Service can be a bit slow, but we didn't mind waiting and were satisfied after. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person MAD 50–100

Should have looked at reviews before visiting. Pizzas took over 40 minutes with only 2 other diners there. When they did arrive they had an unpleasant bitter taste to them. Left nearly half the food. I think they read their reviews and tried to do better as I did got my food quite quickly (20min). I also did asked them before if it would be quick but I went in without checking the reviews so was a bit concerned. But they kept their word. I got a vegetarian Tajine with tasty veggies. I only got one star less for the service bec for Morroco 48dirham is a bit more on the expensive side for veggie Tajine (normally 35dirham). Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Do not stop at this restaurant! I ordered octopus and it came with fly eggs on it..disgusting! And when I told the waiter, they tried to say there were no eggs and took the piece of octopus with the eggs off the plate...unfortunately for them I had already taken a photo...after that they kept quiet and didn't even apologise! Absolutely delicious. A lot of people are complaining that they have to wait so long. What I have seen is that the food is freshly cooked and it takes time and love to make it delicious like that. The waiter was absolutely friendly and really kind. I would recommend the tajine with dates. It’s not from this world.
