What a pleasure, thank you Hilly for such personal service and a warm welcome. Maryke your food was delicious- bobotie cigars were devine. The calamari and springbok pie were outstanding and a great bottle of red. With the fire so warm and the atmosphere so relaxed didn’t want to leave but will be back Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person R 200–250

Yesterday was my first time at Cafe Maude since Maryke took it over. I never went to Cafe Maude it always felt dark and weird. Now it is white and clean and like always food amazing by Maryke. It was a great experience from food, design, decor, service. I love it well done Cafe Maude.

We stopped in for a birthday celebration. Everything was so delicious, especially the Bobotie and the Pork Belly. We ended up buying the entire cheesecake, and it turned out to be the best cheesecake we have ever had. Our server, Hilly is an absolute treasure and such an asset to the restaurant. Definitely will return and highly recommended! Meal type Lunch Price per person R 250–300

Great Food. Great Service. Friendly staff that know their Wines and food suggestions are great. Ideal for groups or families or just friends want to enjoy a meal and wine. Inside and outside seating. Lovely restaurant on the wine farm Bon Courage. They are super accomodating for eating gluten free.

Our first visit to Cafe Maude (22/11/2022) Lovely food, great wine and Hilly!!! Great experience. Hilly also "escorted" us next door to promote some wine purchases! Kees and Mathilda, Bellville. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person R 150–200

Excellent meal, and charming hostess. We had the lamb pie and and the springbok pie …. Full of meat and taste and excellent crispy pastry on top. Sitting outside under the trees listening to the fountain made an idyllic lunch. We also enjoyed the Bon Coiurage The Mulberry Bush a Merlot. One of our party is gluten intolerant, and she had some very good options. Definitely a winner in the Robertson, Ashton and McGregor area. We will go back. Been going there for years, beautiful setting, lovely food. Disappointed that they had run out of their great grape juice. Very friendly new waiters but pink burger buns extremely off-putting and their helpings half the size of what they used to be, chips not even a whole potato's worth? Most patrons travelled long distances and guys need a decent plate of food.

Service was very bad, had to wait more than an hour for our food. Manager gave the bottle of wine we ordered, on the house.
