One of the best Israeli restaurants in the USA, the service is friendly and professional, the food is fresh and delicious, super flavorful. The owner is very nice and care alot about every detail. We will definitely come back again. Try everything! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Hummus
Brand new Mediterranean eatery in Fredericksburg (a month old). When seated they greet you with a basket of pita bread and 4 unique dipping options. Their falafel and lamb were quite tasty. An awesome break from barbecue and German which are staples here in the hill country. Open Thursday to Monday. Look for the converted tan stone house. And parking to the right. Cafe Dimona is not labeled to be seen easily from the highway. We put the plates in the middle and shared. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Lamb Kebab

Gorgeous interior and excellent service rounded out by one of the most delicious meals. We had fresh baked pita and challah bread, the cauliflower and cabbage entree as well as the hummus. Everything, including the side salads, were beautifully plated and tasted flavorful and fresh. The mint tea is a must try! I cannot wait to try their brunch! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Heard great things about Cafe Dimona from friends and wanted to try it out for myself. Very cute and cozy restaurant. Delicious homemade food. The handmade pita was so soft and good (they should consider selling them separately to take home- maybe they do...?). We ordered falafel and charred cauliflower and cabbage steaks. For my son, who's allergic to gluten, the owner was so nice and substituted the pita, which comes with the kids meal, with cucumbers and red bell pepper and instead of the Schnitzel he made him Lamb Kebab patty. We also had babka for dessert. I wish they were serving shakshuka all day, but unfortunately it's only served during breakfast time, which we missed, so I was kind of disappointed. If you're craving shakshuka, take that into consideration. Oh, and did I mention everything was delicious? What a pleasant little slice of Israel in Fredericksburg! We both got the shakshuka and it felt like we had landed in the Ben Gurion Airport and taken a taxi to a cafe. Nice and spicy and very filling, and delicious side dishes. Fresh pita and challah are some of the best we've ever had, "just like safta (grandma) used to make", as written on the menu! Awesome spot. Not “cheap eats” but you for sure get what you pay for. Interesting flavors are sprinkled throughout a menu full of Mediterranean comfort food classics. Lots of meat and veggie options. Service was solid and the place is comfortable for a hang out. Great to have an option like this in town. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
