Cafe volcan beautiful restaurant but the food was underwhelming. The portions were so small for the price. I ordered a sopa de gallina india supposedly the big soup bowl and it was tiny for the price of $14.99. Unfortunately we won’t be coming back. Servers were good and attentive.

The hen soup wasn’t the best as it lacked the extra flavor of herbs, other than that the service was great and the place is quite nice as it makes you feel on the middle of nature as it is an old style house adapted to be a restaurant.

The place is beautiful and relaxing. The restaurant is clean and the service is good. The food didn't taste really fresh though, the desert tasted like it was in the freezer and microwaved before served. The pork ribs were oily and hard to eat. Terrible preparation. You can find better places in the area with way better food.
I had sopa de gallina india, and it was good, really good, why Ism giving it 3 stars is because of costumer service. By the time I wanted to pay I gave them a 100 dollar bill, they brought it back saying they didn't have change, then I gave them my credit card, they brought it back and said they needed ID, they brought it back said they needed a DUI, well I told them I was not from there, that I didn't have one, they said they could not take my payment without a DUI. My friend had to give his DUI for me to be able to pay. The What!!!! it is not his credit card I told the server. I didn't come back ridiculous requests to pay for 35 dollars. Never again even if they have good food.
