Didn’t go in, despite being asked to just leave us to look at the menu board the guy outside was insisting we had to come inside. Opted not to, so he decided to raise his voice and tell us “your not better than me”
Don’t know whether he’s the owner or the “chucker inner” but he wasn’t getting our custom after that. I saw him acting similarly with other people the next day.
Looked like he’d lost his calling selling time shares!
Shame as it looked nice inside.

Excellent food and service. We enjoyed 2 delicious meals/tapas at Alianca. Our waiter Sacha told us the history of the restaurant and explained some of the photographs hanging on the walls. We had a lovely evening and I recommend Cafe Alianca

What a beautiful building! The service and food were great as was the atmosphere with a really relaxed vibe. Oscar and his team did a really great job. We will be back!!!

Beautifully restored cafe with amazing food.
The Bacalau portion was huge and the burger amazing.
Definitely one of the best experiences from a service, ambience and food perspective in our time in portugal this time.
Burger was so good Wil went back for a second next day! 🍔
Took dad as he was in town and he loved the way it had been restored. Would make an amazing first night out in Faro if you’ve just arrived!

Just came out of this restaurant and had to do a review. Was so impressed with the service and food. Everything was so clean and beautiful. Not over priced at all . I'm so glad we stopped here . Thank you café Alianca

Awesome food. Awesome service. For a really good price. 39e for 2 dishes, 1 bottle of wine. Porto on the house with the bill.
A must go in our big list. 100 days in Europe.

Nice drinks, Hendricks served well chilled with just right amount of cucumber, with Gordon's they are asking how u like it - they know what they are doing.
Unfortunately for me; I ate earlier and cant fit any more of that deliciously looking goodies am watching here.

It seems people's experience varies, but I thought the Bacalhau a Brás was excellent and good value

Attentive and friendly servers and good suggestions about the food. Had clams cooked with garlic and oil with a side of fries per suggestion for dipping. Clams were pretty puny and some with empty shells. Took outdoor seating but the inside looks interesting with old photos of Faro.
