Booked a room at the nearby hotel so we walked over to Legacy Yard for a bite to eat. We wanted sandwiches so we went into this store. Firstly we were pressed for time and rather hungry so we asked the cashier how long it would take to prepare the sandwiches to which he vehemently professed that it would be 10 max so we placed our order. We went over to the next food store and ordered fries for the sandwiches (butterscotch didn’t sell these) and waited on it. The drinks arrived from butterscotch and then the fries but no sandwiches … we ended up eating all the fries and about 20-25 minutes had passed by and eventually the sandwiches arrived! It was very basic and not worth the wait plus the crisps on the side were stale!! I ordered a toasted sandwich for a worker from the nearby office building and I was told that it took 30 minutes to arrive!! My friend also ordered food from here and it took just as long and the bread was almost burnt when toasted … very disappointing food, service and overall experience. I made the server aware of the long wait and she was very argumentative. There was a lady behind the counter (dressed in civilian clothes), she was so rude and annoying as while we were trying to place our orders, she butted in and started questioning the staff, she was very distracting to the staff and didn’t even acknowledge the customers. She was present the next day as well so I just avoided the store altogether!!

My cappuccino and smashed avocado on toast were fine, but what left a really sour taste in my mouth was that the person that took my order thought it was more likely that I accidentally ordered two cappuccinos for myself, than that they misheard. I didn't check my bill and paid for the extra coffee and the best they were willing to offer me was to take a 20 minute old coffee away with me in a take-away cup.

A lovely Cafe that serves some good coffee and hot drinks; the butterscotch latte was delicious. Also has an assortment of quick snacks and some toasted sandwiches - perfect if you just need something to fill the gaps. The service was a bit lax but I am confident that this will improve, as the Cafe is newly opened.
Terrible Service !!! The lady by the name of Ningi Zwane was so rude. When I wanted to order a small Hot Chocolate she told us that they only make only large and was very rude about it yet they still made me a small one. This lady needs to get manners and needs to learn how to talk to customers !!! When we said that we were shocked to receive such terrible service she just said “ this is the first time I’ve heard that “ and when we informed her that we regularly come there she rudely just said “ this is the first time I see you here “ regardless if it is my first time or not this is a terrible way to speak to your customers!!!

I called to enquire about their instagram post, the first lady I spoke to was clueless about the ginger bread building and she ask someone close by they were clueless too and she then said she she go ask someone else somewhere, grreat!... I asked her to call me back and she took my number... An hour later I called again then the next lady I spoke too knew something ginger bread man, woman and house but she was impatient and rude. She kept in explaining something else(ginger bread man, woman and house, but not what I was enquiring about, ginger bread building) and eventually she said no we are out of stock and kept on talking to someone in the background. When I asked if they will receiving stock, very rudely said no our supply is also out of stock. I read the reviews before I called when I looking for their number, but gave them a benefit of a doubt and I regret it. Horrible service, no customer care at all.
Arrogant staff with average coffee. One would think the employees own the store in the manner they speak to people. I wouldn't go back even if the coffee and cakes were free. If you're the owner and you're reading this, fire your staff and hire new ones which are given training on customer service.
Got a large chai latte which was good but my concern is their version of a Greek salad which wasn't even a lunch size portion, it was the size of a side salad. Contents included iceberg lettuce, a few strips of peppers, half cut cherry tomatoes a few slices of cucumber and red onion. The worst was the honey mustard dressing and the extra shredded chicken which I paid for, in total I paid R152 for both salad and drink.
Definately not a Greek salad although inspired by it. And definately not worth the price.

Terrible service from staff, the barista making the drinks was absolutely rude and was so arrogant. It’s like he was annoyed to serve us. It felt like the customers were disturbing the staff with their conversations to each other. Very off-putting experience. The owner should really consider replacing such arrogant staff because after my experience with them I won’t go back.
Unfortunately I had a disappointing experience at this coffee shop.
We arrived at 08:56 am on a Thursday morning and there were hardly any pastries or snacks available. We had a meeting at the Umhlanga Arch and it was my intention to take some pastries to this meeting… unfortunately I was empty handed and had to accept a few donuts and old chocolate pastries. When we discussed this issue with the staff, they said that their supplier didn’t deliver any pastries since the previous day. In my opinion this is unacceptable when you are a coffee shop that is supposed to operate in the morning. Very disappointed.
Worst customer service ever. Why are they so rude?? 2 separate interactions with different staff have been unnecessarily hostile. It adds a bad taste to the whole experience of simply ordering a coffee.
