This is one of my favorite places to dine in, but especially to order out after a long day at work. My hubby ordered my favorite filet but it was definitely not cooked quite right. The manager was so kind and made sure to remedy the issue. In a world where food service has declined at many places, Burntwood in Fairlawn still knows how to make their customers happy by serving great food and creating a great experience. EDIT: After my initial review the restaurant did contact me and apologized for the unsatisfactory conditions that night temperature wise, super friendly customer service and I appreciated them reaching out like that. The unique light fixtures and wood decor were really cool. We were seated sort of in an off to the side section that was absolutely freezing, we kept our coats on the whole time and couldn't wait to leave to warm up in the car. The food was ok but we both didn't really get filled up. Sweet potato fries were delicious at least. They did an amazing job of serving our group of 20 efficiently and kindly. Nice sde room available. The salad was tasty but undersized. Worst french fries my wife can remember having. This was our first time eating here. We didn't have to wait to be seated, which was nice as it was prime dinner time. The ambience was very nice, I wasn't expecting the place to look like it does. Our server was polite and efficient. The food...meh. I got the French dip and Parmesan truffle fries. Those alone were not worth the extra $2. The sandwich, well, the beef was tough and I had a difficult time eating it. I can get a better French dip at Arby's for a lot less than $19!! My husband got the California chicken sandwich, which he said was good, but not $17 good. The place had pretty much cleared out by 7:30 on a Friday evening...weird. This was a one and done for us.
