Burks has a great atmosphere. There is always a friendly face in the crowd and it usually belongs to one of the awesome bartenders there. It's nice to have options when you are downtown Loveland and I would recommend stopping in Burks. Great prices and great drinks. Price per person $10–20 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Burks Tavern is a comfortable little place and my new favorite place to grab a drink! The bartender was amazingly friendly and quick with a smile, drink, or to make a recommendation. I had their special apple pie drink and it was great. I don’t usually go for sweet drinks, but for Burks apple pie drink I’ll make an exception. The place was clean, had great music, centrally located and just a fun place to have a drink. Definitely worth checking out!

Awesome hole in the wall bar! Bartender is everything one could want...excellent at making handcrafted drinks, funny and made me feel like a regular my first time in. Made this lonely out of towner feel welcome and like I was amongst old friends. Thank you!

This is a family establishment, meaning adults bring their dogs and kids stay on the patio (jk). 😂 Overall, it's an incredible bar with genuine people and good drinks and great conversation! Come for a quick drink, stay for your 4th Tennessee Apple Pie Shot. 12/10 would recommend. Tell everyone you know.

I’ve been in a million times and I truly feel that this is the “Cheers” of Loveland. What made me write this review, is that Tennessee and Ian re-enacted Apocalypse Now. It was really authentic.

Went to meet up with some friends. Picked Burks for its location, and now I found My Favorite Tavern In LoveTown! Great sized place in the middle of Downtown, with the Coolest bartender this side of the Mississippi... or is it Tennessee? Either way, he's a Great guy! Fantastic drinks and snacks. If you ever want a friendly and fun place to have a Great time... Burks would be a smart choice!!

Just moved here tonight! First bar I stopped at with my boyfriend. Each ordered a single drink after walking a few blocks from our hotel. Went back to the hotel to get our pizza we had delivered and our dog. Come back and my boyfriend and I each order one drink and a shot for each of us. I walk outside with our dog who is pulling on my arm and apparently after being served a single beer I am now “stumbling” with my 7 month old puppy who is pulling on his leash. The bartender then told my boyfriend he would not serve us. Thanks for killing our plans and kicking us out of the bar dude! We were excited to make some first night memories at your bar but we will not be returning. Would not recommend 👎🏻

What a cool little place. Great atmosphere, and a funny as hell bartender, felt like I was in a comedy club all night. Definately a new place to go for us on a regular basis.

So I would give them more stars but this place is more for locals. It was the first time I went there I waited 15 min and made eye contact with the bartender 3 times and I even got up and went to the bar and noone ever even asked me anything with only 7 people in the bar and 2 bar tenders. So I went over to chillers bar and grill just 2 or 3 doors down and felt like home. Will probably make them my regular from now on.
