Haven't tried burger king in years. Wanted to try the breakfast. Not bad. I got the croissant sausage sandwich combo. Drive thru was fairly quick in the am. Food was fresh and tasty. Well, it's simple. The staff are pretty fast (more so than typical in Berkeley, Oakland, Emeryville), They're also friendly (somewhat important to me), food is hot, generally clean tables with lots of space.... ...more importantly, it's an easy stop near Trader Joe's and I can ALWAYS bring my bicycle inside (making life sooo much easier). The experience here was horrible. Hamburger was disgusting. Tables are not cleaned. One locked bathroom for employee and one not usable. Stayed enough time to see if anyone would wipe tables or clean the bathroom, just stood around. I even mentioned to them that the bathroom is in horrible state. I ordered and waited for my order a little bit. I did not eat outside as I love to eat warm food. However, they gave me cold food, feel like from yesterday. Never again.

got a swiss, bacon whopper jr. My daughter had a whooper jr with cheese and a large fries to share. It was the best burger king I've eaten at. the burgers were hat and tasty. the fries were better than McDonald's..... Ordered a whopper Jr combo in the drive thru ($9). I come up to the window and the lady charges me for the order of the car behind me ($25). She doesn’t even call out the number though, just takes my card. I look at the receipt and immediately told her it was the wrong order. She closes the window and leaves me there for like 5 minutes. Her manager comes in and with the worst attitude just starts telling me they didn’t take my order and I just paid someone else’s. I ask for a refund, not even annoyed or anything. Frustrated, she starts slamming a bunch of keys, grabs the receipt from my hand and says the refund has been submitted. I ask if I can order and am told no! I need to get back in line so I just get the hell out of there. I look at my bank account and NO refund. I’ve been calling their phone number and no one picks up. Worst customer service in the area. Last time I visit that place.

This place is busy. The garlic & bacon sandwich is delicious. Great place to eat once a week. I like to eat every day at different fast food restaurants.
