We have never been disappointed with their food or their service. Hands down, One of best Pakistani restaurants in the Chicagoland area. Their food quality and standard has always been up to par and their service is always best! Came here on a slow night and were treated by kind people working hard to make fresh grilled food and paratha. The dining area was clean and spacious to enjoy warm food. Non welcoming staff that clearly don’t want to work there, zero facial expressions or any appreciation of our business. Compared to other Indian restaurants the food is twice as spicy but not flavorful enough. It is not as good as Bundoo Kahn on Devon! Also they have mostly chicken grill items. The tandoori needs to be marinated better, it’s just spicy but no flavor in the meet. The malai boti was awesome, the tika boti was spicy but was nice and charred, the bihari kabab was good although it was chicken. The khorma was so so. And the suji halwa was not impressive. Also most expensive than other places around. All in all it was good for some quick grill items. Update: after a while we tried the place again. And they have improved significantly. The flavors are excellent and the spice level is now the perfect amount. The seek kababs were all super good especially the lamb was melting. The bihari and chicken malai boti were excellent as well, well marinated and very well flavored. Don’t change the recipe! Oh and their highway karahi is sooooooo good. I wanted to share my recent experience at Bundoo khan express, and to be honest, it wasn't great. It's not just about the food, it's about how the people there are treated. Throughout my meal, I couldn't ignore the owner's behavior towards the staff—it was pretty rough. Seeing the owner yelling and swearing at their team was really uncomfortable. But what really got to me was finding out that the servers don't get any tips. All that hard work they put in, and they don't even get to keep the tips they earn? That just doesn't seem right, especially in this day and age when fairness should be a given. I just can't support a place that treats its employees like that. I mean, we're all human, and we all deserve to be treated with respect, right? So, until the owner decides to change things up and treat their staff better, I'm going to have to take my business elsewhere. And I hope others will consider doing the same. After all, standing up for what's right is something we can all do, even if it's just by choosing where we spend our money.

We were greeted nicely and quickly at the counter. We ordered the karahi, naan and Bihari roll. The karahi is served alone. You’ll need to order naans additionally! They brought the food to our table. The hot chicken karahi was generously portioned and spice level was adequate. It’s served in a takeout container though. It’s nothing to rave about but it tasted good. I wouldn’t order this again. Keep in mind this is “express” as the title states and is not a full fledged restaurant. Naans are a good size - fluffy Paratha is liken to a poori paratha and not paratha in a traditional sense. Rolls (sandwiches) have the option to have it on a paratha or a naan. I chose paratha. It came with 2 sauces; creamy and the other sour-ish and tangy made with tamarind. The tamarind sauce was a very good accompaniment to the Bihari roll. The Bihari meat was tender and flavorful. The sandwich was delicious and I would definitely order this again. (Bihari itself I’d give a 4 star rating.) In future, I would stick with ordering kababs, rolls and their fast food items. This isn't about the taste of the food, food was fine, if I just left a rating on that, we'd be talking 3.5 - 4 stars. Staff was friendly, area was clean, ambiance of restaurant was nice. So why 1 star? Because after I got home, had to run to the bathroom, and in the following 8 hours had to keep using the bathroom, bad upset stomach, went 5 times at least. I recently visited bundhoo khan naperville branch with my family. I was very acquainted with the previous employee and they understood my needs. The new staff were messing up my orders and were not even delivering the food properly. My food was delivered to another table and got wrong orders as well. I was skeptical to try the express version of Bundoo Khan due to the reviews left but I am glad I did! Fast (20 mins wait for tikka, bihari, paratha, and malai boti roll) and delicious. Absolutely will be coming here rather than driving the hour to Chicago. Lots of parking, more seats than I anticipated (even baby seats), and fast service.
