This is the best Thai place in Pennsylvania! I came here after a long airplane ride and this is exactly what I needed after that. This restaurant is formally known as Thai spice and the staff and owner are so nice! The food is delicious and I decently recommend the yellow curry! It's so sweet and like no other. The pad Thai is so good and the rice is shaped to look super cute! I also definitely recommend the flower wontons with cream cheese! They are to die for! Really good food. I usually come here for the pho but wanted to try something different today. I had the house Salad which comes with fried tofu and a peanut dressing. Really good. I then got the sweet and sour shrimp. Very tasty. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Went here with a friend. First time here. I think I got a couple stares I felt the atmosphere was ok though. When you feel something you just feel it. Server was nice though. We tried the pineapple curry really good. We also tried the pad Thai with tofu and Thai iced tea very good. I may try again but probably take out. Recommend: curry puff, drunken noodles Ok: massaman curry, pad thai Curry puff could be slightly flakier and have a stronger curry taste but the crust was nice and the potatoes had a lovely texture. Drunken noodles were good but had lots of raw beans sprouts on top. The shrimp were nice though Massaman curry had an okay flavor but I was not about the peanuts or pineapple and the poor was tough. I had chicken creamy Tom Yum soup and it was soooooo good!! I had many like many Tom Yum soup in my life. This one hits differently and it does hit the spot. I also had the chicken Khao Soi. I had this curry back in Thailand and it tastes so much like it. Definitely recommend these two dishes. I'm coming back for other dishes for sure ☺️. New owners/New Menu from old Thai spice location. MUST Try. -This..is the only restaurant my Thai wife hasn't complained in. Lol. She said has to gets 5 stars!! (It's that good). I got the kow Soi? (Yellow curry mild) Next time I'll try it medium because I like a little kick. But the flavor is INCREDIBLE. And my wife is obsessed with papaya salad (very spicy) but you can customize the level of heat and she said they made it e-san style? Which is hard to find I guess? Will definitely be back. Boon Chu Thai is now under the new management, and it's located at the old Spice Thai at 216 W. Ridge Pike in the Shoppers at Limerick. It was my first time dining here, and I opted for a beef pho. It wasn't the best broth I ever tasted, but it was above average. Some beef pieces were rather tough, but it was probably because they were well-done when they came out of the kitchen. I would've preferred rare round steak like most Pho Tai I had before. Also, rice noodles were thin like vermicelli instead of thin flat ones. The portion size was not too large. Service was very good. I was the only one dining in, so I had the whole place to myself. I think it probably will be sometime before I come back here to try other dishes. I was told that they'll have a lunch special menu as well as the new website in the near future. I will welcome that. Formally known as Thai Spice... excellent service, staff is very helpful and friendly. Food is delicious. We got yellow curry and the flavors are amazing, crunchy veggies, tofuu is savory, the presentation is very cool. Thai street basil dish is one of the best I have tried. Don't let the sign fool you. New owners here. Food is 100% better than previous owners. Service was great. People very friendly. And, if you have previously gone in winter and had to eat in the cold, be advised the new owners fixed the heat. Definitely going back. Rich creamy curries. Excellent noodle dishes.
