I have had lunch there quite a few times the last years and I was never disappointed. And today was the best of all, I had the Chicken Kadhai which was absolutely superb, with a wonderful sauce with a perfect touch of chili to make it a bit spicy but not too much. I think this was the best chicken meal I ever had, you should try it! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person kr 100–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Have been to Bombay Bistro over 30+ times and hope I qualify to give this place a review 🙂 Food taste good and really good after the new management took over the place, best part is the hotness level, very apt and you get to enjoy the meal. The staff are always kind enough to tell you about the taste of the food, like when I intend to order any korma, the waiter lets me know that it would taste sweet 🙂 My best pick- Naan: Chilli cheese naan Curry: Malabari chicken or Lamb gosht Have tried the papdi chat several times Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person kr 100–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had dinner there, we were a group of 10. Place was nice and we managed to set all together. Menu contains many options of chicken, lamb and vegi food. We had medium spicy dishes but it was so non-spicy, so if you like spices, mention this ahead to the staff :) Meal is so enough for one person especially if it comes with rice. Nan and lassi were also so good. Staff were super nice and helpful. A bit expensive though. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person kr 600–700 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Second time I'm visiting in a week. On Monday had the Lamm Jalfrezi and today I had the Murgh Malabar. Both excellent dishes and comes at a very reasonable price. The first time was a bit busier so I didn't get immediate attention but they did apologise hence the score not being affected. An English menu would be much appreciated, but other than that I have no complaints whatsoever. Highly recommended. One of the best restaurants in Gothenburg when taste to money is concerned as long as you enjoy spicy food. Will return with more colleagues next time. Fantastic dinner with family. Have been eating lunch here every now and then for the past 10 years, but never tried dinner until today. Wow, what an experience that was! Chicken 65 and Murgh Banzara Tikka are some of the best dishes I've eaten ever. The Gulab Jamun for desert was, although perhaps a little subtle in comparison with starter and main course, a perfect ending after a spicy meal. Likewise the Kesar Pista Kulfi ice cream. Please do get a better coffee machine though. In total a fantastic dinner! Will definitely come back for more dinner. Never knew that such a little treasure existed at Lindholmen! To keep it short there's one word - "Disappointed". Starting from the menu every dish is served with complimentary rice which is not usual in India. It even misses some authentic most famous Indian dishes like "chaas". And surprisingly the staff is not even aware od this beverage. Which i felt quite obvious cause the staff is not an Indian. Then coming to crockery, very poor choice in selecting the plates design. The glasses look like copper which is Indian style but actually stainless Steel painted to look like copper. Ambience is just ok. Then comes the food taste which is just average Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

I've had take away from this place before which I liked so we stopped by to try their lunch. Tasty food and big portions, good value for money I'd say. Lunch includes rice, a naan bread, coffee and salad buffet. Vegetarian options available, I had lentils which were quite good, a bit spicy with lots of flavours.
This is a great Indian place both for lunches and dinners! Since it is right next to Lindholmen, it can unfortunately get very crowded during lunch hours, but it is well worth it. Note that the food is usually not that spicy, so make sure to ask for that when you order.
