The server suggested the cauliflower as a starter. It was more like Chinese food, too much tomato sauce, breaded, couldn’t even feel the taste of cauliflower! The Chickpea dish was half size of other restaurants. Raita so watery, tiny portion and very sweet! Cauliflower sauce was too sweet too…Beryani was OK nothing spectacular, less beans than usual, more yellow corn & green pea! Came out hungry and asked for extra napkins which we didn’t get after all! This is my first visit to this place. The restaurant is quite spacious and true to its name they had a Bollywood vibe. I liked the quirky names of the dishes in their menu. We ordered Taco Tikka Masala, Tikki Chole and Mango Manchurian Sizzler. The stuffing inside the taco tikka masala was really good but the flour tortilla was really thick. Tikki chole has crispy tikki and yummy chole. I would personally like to add sev as topping. Absolutely loved their sizzler and it was the star. It comes in a sizzling hot plate. The Manchurian balls were crispy with chilli garlic sauce along with mango chunks and veggies on a bed of rice. It was sweet and spicy. Overall, I would recommend this place for their specials and meal combos. I would visit again to try other sizzlers. This is one of those go to Indian restaurants in town which is small in size but grand in taste! We ordered Paneer Butter Masala, Kadhai Paneer, Garlic Naan which were outstandingly delicious 😋 and worth my 45 mins. drive! The service was super fast and the restaurant crew was very attentive to our details which we appreciate! However, there are a few things that they can work on. The prices felt a little hiked given the quantity of the food that was served on the table or they can increase the quantity of food! :) Customers would love to see cleaner bathrooms and redeveloped dining area. My cousins and I had a great time trying this place for the first time!! Having visited Bollywood Bistro six timethis splendid Indian restaurant has not only captured my taste buds but also earned its place as my go-to spot for both dining in and carry-out. Each visit brings with it the same level of culinary delight and consistency in quality that first drew me in. I often start with the tandoor paneer flat bread and Kadhai Sizzler - which is a hefty portion, very good for sharing with large groups. The paneer butter masala and malai kofta with butter naan remains my favorite main course. My go to Indian restaurant. Always consistent and the food never stops to amaze me. Not to forget the gracious chef. I casually mentioned that I miss soy chaap the way I used to eat in India and he made sure he treats me with that. It tastes amazing with garlic naan, def a must try!! 10/10 and totally recommend it! I took a photo halfway through our 🥘 then I remembered to take a photo! To get Indian cuisine we have to drive an hour away. We decided to try this place out and the hospitality was absolutely phenomenal! We have never been treated so kindly going out to eat. The food was very well made and made with love. I do have to admit that as a family of 5 with 3 small children and picky eaters after we found out it was vegetarian we thought about leaving. My husband and I are SO happy we did not leave! Went on a Wednesday evening. Place was empty but started filling up at 6:30 p.m.. Elevator music playing on the speakers. Frames with Indian movie dialogues on them. It's completely vegetarian cuisine. We had: Papdi chaat Indo Chinese sizzler Desi Pizza Soy Chaap If you know Annapurna on Devon street, I found the chaat here to be comparable taste. As far as the rest of the food, even by Desi Indian standards, medium spicy sizzler is Very spicy 🥵 so be careful. All good very tasty though. The food, the service, the conversation... Everything about this place was done with excellence and care. My wife and I had never been to an Indian restaurant before, and didn't know what to order, so we let the owner order for us, and he did not disappoint. The food was made with love, the smoothies were excellent, and we felt as if we were at home there. Those are things you can't teach, it just comes naturally, and come naturally it did. We will for sure be back... Not coming back isn't an option! 😏 Delicious clean food, great atmosphere, great people! Ten stars!
