The food and the ambiance were really nice. Services and drinks affordable , very good portions. The New England clam chowder was delightful. The staff treated my family and I really nice. They were so kind. We had a special request for my son's birthday at breakfast and the staff improvised and made it happen. We appreciated it so much. Great place to eat right at the hotel. Nice bar with lots of good drinks. Had the salmon twice. So good! And don't forget the flourless chocolate cake! I’m not sure it would be worth eating here if you weren’t already staying at the hotel. The small menu had a good amount of variety, but the descriptions provided were a lot more promising than what was actually delivered. I ordered the papardelle bolognese (which I believe was one of, if not the most expensive items on the menu) and was thoroughly unimpressed. It was a vegan dish that lacked flavor and the pasta, which I’m assuming was homemade, tasted over cooked and was difficult to chew. I ended up eating not even half and didn’t bother bringing the rest back to my room with me. Someone else in my party ordered the prosciutto and fig flatbread, which was yummy but absolutely should not have been called a flatbread. The dough was so thick that at some points we had to cut the pizza with a fork and knife because we couldn’t bite through it. The calamari appetizer and fish and chip entree were both decent.
