Such a great little spot. We came through for work and tried Blue Dog for breakfast. Everything was excellent! The staff was all so friendly. The food was delicious. The coffee was outstanding. The atmosphere was really cool. Love the unique dog theme.
If I ever find myself in town again, I'll make my way back to blue dog. If you happen to be in town looking for breakfast that isn't wafflehouse, make your way to blue dog!

Blue Dog Breakfast
This was my first visit to Blue Dog Bistro in Gulfport and I must say that I am beyond impressed. The establishment is clean with a touch of elegance, and the food is delectable.
I got the chicken caprese with cauliflower mash and I swear it got better with each bite. The chicken was grilled to perfection and I couldn't tell that the potatoes weren't actually potatoes.
I sat at the counter and Jake was thee friendliest person ever. Actually, all the staff was pretty amazing. And, the peach bellini that he made me was the perfect drink to wash my food down with.
This was one of the best first impressions that I've had in a restaurant in a very long time. I'm definitely coming back for more!

Good family upscale breakfast/brunch place. Staff is friendly and attentive. Food was fresh and came out hot. They have a full bar and lots of varieties of mimosas. $15 bottomless every day, not just the weekends. Parking is good, too. I prefer this Blue Dog to the one in Ocean Springs.

5 stars all the way around! Jake was our server and made it such a pleasant and memorable experience for us. The food was absolutely amazing and Cafe mocha was delicious! We couldn't ask for a better experience. We will be back on future trips. Thank you!!

Blue Dog Breakfast
I had breakfast at the Blue Dog Bistro in Gulfport today. They had several delicious items to choose from for breakfast and lunch. They are also a vegan, keto, paleo, and gluten-free friendly restaurant. They use fresh local ingredients. The restaurant was very clean and modern. Today, I tried the Avocado Toast which was a Gluten Free Option. It was made with sourdough toast, housemade avocado spread, watermelon radish and sesame seeds. The bread was so soft and the ends had a little crunch which was a nice surprise. The spread was very creamy and light. I usually get this from Dunkin Donuts but I don’t think I’ll be going there any more 🤣. There were other items on the menu that looked amazing. I think next time I will try the smoked peach and burrata flatbread. My waiter was extremely nice and attentive.

Excellent breakfast and lunch options. You can have breakfast at lunchtime if you want. Healthy options too. Very pleasant atmosphere. We sat outside on the patio. Everything from eggs. Bacon. Pancakes. Crab. Shrimp. Service was excellent. Highly recommend this location and the one in Ocean Springs too.

I came for the first time and had a great experience. We came later in the day and there was no wait. It's a very cute and cozy place, and our server was personable and attentive. We got the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer to share and I would highly recommend - they were fantastic! I got the shrimp and grits which was delicious and a big serving. I took about half home in a to go plate. I also got a salted caramel latte which was excellent. My daughter got a chocolate chip waffle which looked really good as well. They also have vegan and gluten free options which are hard to find around here. I'm glad we tried this place and excited to return!

Would’ve given a total of 5 stars but my bacon and Cochon hash were room temp. Service was impeccable. Ordered the blue dog breakfast. I swapped toast for fruit and hubby swamped the hash for cheese grits. Everything was delicious! Janae made the visit extra pleasant. Such a sweet soul! First time visiting and will definitely go again.
*the eggs, grits, pancakes and fruit are top notch. Especially eggs and grits.

Cheddar Cheese Grits
The food, coffee, it were amazingly delicious. The only bad thing was the noise level inside, it was about 10am to about 1115 am, It was so loud inside the restaurant, everyone talking, you had to strain to here your party talking at your table over other tables and conversations. Oh, and a crying toddler. Wow. If they can do something to cut down on the noise level, what an amazing experience it would be, so much better. The food and drinks are fabulous. I would highly recommend it here for a great brunch experience.

Blueberry Pancakes
Clean restaurant. Only open until 3. Waitress was fabulous! Food was so GOOD - I had the tuna stack and salmon club. Our son had the blueberry pancakes. A friend had nachos. We all LOVED our meal.
