We were looking for a dog friendly restaurant as we were visiting Cheat Lake and hiking with our dogs. The other require was a vegan or vegetarian options. This restaurant checked off both boxes. It wasn't busy when we visited (mid day) but it looks like the restaurant can handle large crowds (most likely on game days) The ordering process was fast casual as we ordered and paid ahead of time at the register. It is self service drink station and they give you a table number and you can sit anywhere and they will bring your food to the table The food was very good. They had a vegan bacon that my wife enjoyed but she didn't realize the cheddar cheese that came on the wrap was not vegan based. It would have been nice if the order taker would have asked to omit the cheese but I guess she could have paid more attention to the ingredients on the menu description. I got the Caesar wrap which was very tasty. We also ordered chip with guacamole. The portions were great for the money and the flavors on point. Stopped in for dinner during business trip and had chips and guacamole and Sergeant Peppers (B side)burrito . Guac was very good and the sergeant peppers burrito had nice touch of heat and flavor on point. Highly recommend. Black Bear is a Morgantown institution! They have a large menu with many, many delicious items! Their burritos and quesadillas are awesome! It is a very unique place! Portions were generous! I had not visited since before Covid and I was very impressed! I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend for a unique dining experience! This is a vegetarian’s delight. The range of choices with easy online ordering makes this a great choice for lunch or dinner. All 3 of our burritos were excellent if not a little too big as we all had leftovers for the next day. We ordered carryout so I don’t know what the dining in experience is like but pick up was quick and easy. Great place to stop before a Mountaineers game! Let’s go!

Good food. Gives a more fast food than a sit-down ambiance. Good portions. Chips come as a side (like fries). The chips are better, warm, salted well. Salsa has a good kick. Fyi, cilantro is your friend. Queso is more thin than I am used to. It is like a better Chipotle. Really loved the experience here! The food was incredible, in particular, the guacamole was delicious. Everyone in my party loved our food and we had a bit of everything! The only thing I didn't like was that the extra veggies are a bit on the stingy side for how much extra you pay! I got roasted corn and there were only a few sparse pieces around, so I'll probably stick to plain with guac next time. Otherwise an awesome experience and a similar price range to Qdoba or Chipotle, but significantly better food! I love this place so much! It’s my all time FAVORITE. The food and drinks (especially the queso) are great, staff is attentive and knowledgeable, the music is always a vibe…. Always recommend to anyone new in town or passing through! You must try Black Bear ASAP if you haven’t already! I promise you won’t regret it. My son and I wanted to grab a quick bite to eat before the basketball game and decided to try the Black Bear. We ordered chips and salsa for the appetizer and it was pretty good, but very bland. He had the kids burrito with steak and I had the build your own burrito. I ordered it with rice, chicken, peppers, onions, cheese, beans and salsa. The taste was pretty good, but the inside was almost all beans. If you want to grab a quick bite, try it out. I'm not sure I will go back though. The food was very good. The staff was very nice. The craft beer selection was great. Only thing to be aware of is that it is you place your order and pay at the counter, then they bring it to you, and they clean up the table afterwards. If you have never been you wouldn't know that.
