This place is awesome. Issac and the crew here make you feel at home. The lanes are very new and fast, too. Plus the beer selection is good. This bowling alley is a great place for a date night or a night out with the kids!

My friends and I ventured into Big Z's this past Saturday and it did not disappoint! The place has it all - from the bowling lanes, to pool and other bar games, to live music and TVs - there is family fun for everyone! There is ample amount of space and seating and we never had to wait long for a drink at the bar (espresso martinis did not disappoint). The staff was very friendly and welcoming - they were able to handle our rowdy friend group with ease. Food was great - definitely should try out the pimento cheese balls with hot honey or the turkey club! The owners have really done an incredible job with this place and this is a great addition/upgrade to town! Highly recommend to anyone who is visiting town!

One the best places to go out and have fun in lake placid. Games and activities throughout the entire establishment with two bars and a great menu. Burgers, sandwiches, wings everything we’ve ordered tasted great with exceptional customer service. Manager was super friendly and helpful with the everything. Also a great place to bring kids!!

Had a good time tonight at Big Z’s. We wanted a casual dinner and got so much more. The food came out quick and hot. Rob’s spicy chicken was money. So good! I had a special, brisket Mac and cheese. And…there is plenty to keep the family busy. Video games, Connect 4, Jenga, pool, and so much more. Really was a great experience.

My friends and I stopped by Big Z’s for some drinks and bowling but we stayed for the people and fun! We ordered cocktails and enjoyed the live music until it was time for us to bowl. We had such a blast dancing and singing with the band. After a while, we took our lanes and had the best time playing. We enjoyed some snacks such as the hot dogs, turkey club, Mediterranean salad, Mac and cheese and much more! Beyond the bowling, food, and drinks, the vibe and people are what make this place special. I can’t wait to return.

This is a great place to grab a drink, watch the game, play some pool, or bowl a few frames. Comparatively to the rest of the places in town, there is a lot more elbow room in the bar and pool room. But, it's a smaller bowling alley with 4 seating areas, each set up with two lanes. The seating is a little close quarters, so be sure to only take your bestest of friends😄. It's set up well if you are going with a small group. We went on a Sunday night in the off-season(beginning of January), and there were only a handful of people. We didn't have to wait for lanes or at the bar. Prices were reasonable as well. Would definitely recommend it. 👌

I never thought I’d be a person who regularly hung out at a bowling alley…but this one has a pleasant vibe. Food is great for bar snacks, there’s pick-up bowling leagues, shuffleboard, darts, pool and jenga. The staff is wonderful. The owner is a genuine guy…and fun to bowl with. The locals are welcoming and easy to talk to.

Best spot in placid Great pool tables..lots of games..New bowling lanes. The simulator is brand new. The choice of golf courses they provide is excellent. They have great pub grub. Lots of TV showing all sports Live music also Fun for everyone

Contacted to book a party of 10 for 2 hours of bowling. Apparently lanes are made of solid gold. Have bowled all over the world and have never seen prices so high anywhere. Overestimating their value is an understatement. Spending no money here.
