When in Cottage Grove and thinking about bbq, my experience eating at Big Stuff is aways satisfying. Today I had a combination plate with burnt ends and pull pork. Macaroni salad is excellent - baked beans are very tasty. Nice people, hand crafted bbq meats and all their homemade side dishes are delicious. With a corn muffin too.

Mac Salad
Ribs were okay. Brisket tasted like lighter fluid. Potato salad was fine. Beans tasted like they were out of a can. Mac salad didn't have any flavor. And the coleslaw was inedible; tasted like it had gone bad and was severely over dressed. However, the service was very good. I'd expect better tasting BBQ from a place that has been open for 20 years.

We ordered the brisket and hot link with some sides and everything we tasted was fantastic. After hearing it was our first time in they even offered some samples of their other meats.. amazing. It was all super tender, well seasoned, and cooked to perfection. 5/5, highly recommended, we will be back!

Potato Salad
The Christmas honey baked ham was the best I've ever eaten. Their pulled pork sandwich, BBQ chicken 1/2 and 1/4 are amazing as well as their bbq Beef brisquit. I've brought guests here and they're all impressed that it's the best bbq they've ever had.

Went in as soon as they opened. They couldn't make French fries the fryer was down. So I ordered the Mac n cheese. Guess what. It wasn't ready even though they opened their
Doors.. flies everywhere flying at you.. was not impressed and will not be back! I don't recommend it. Here's what their 7$ salad looks like

Worst customer service ever. Hired them to provide the food for my son's wedding. Left several messages to ask about catering, was never called back so I had to come in in person. Paid my deposit. Then, 3 weeks before the wedding I came in and paid the remainder. Called a few days before the wedding to let them know I did not need the chaffing dishes (which cost $60 each to rent). My friend shows up the day of the wedding to pick up the food and they charge him for the chaffing dishes and for the $520 that I had paid 3 weeks before to Total $700. Then the lady has the nerve to ask me to show proof that I paid, I'm at my son's wedding! Went down there today to show them the receipts that I had actually paid. Reminded her that she might want to listen to her voicemails. Her and her husband Simon do not communicate at all. Obviously their other employees do not communicate either. I will never do business with them again.

I’ve wanted to eat here since I was a kid and finally did!! I remember smelling the BBQ through downtown and it making me sooo hungry.
I was so pleased by the atmosphere and friendly service we received. Amazing food at a decent price. We will most definitely be returning to try more of the menu. We sure left “Stuffed”!!

Great pork and brisket, can't wait to try the ribs. Sweet bbq sauce is delicious definitely homemade and all the sides I've tried have been great especially the coleslaw, it's vinegary and delicious. The people who work here are awesome and friendly and seem to care about their bbq.
If you haven't been here, time to change your plans and go!

I have been looking for a good local barbecue place for a while as they're in short supply in Eugene. I went here with my dad, and we both got the brisket meat plate with two sides (baked beans for both of us, potato salad for my dad and seasoned fries for me) and a cornbread muffin. The brisket was so tender, flavorful, and filling, too! The portions are generous, so much so that I had to take my muffin and fries to go!
Everyone here is so friendly, too. You can really tell they appreciate their customers and enjoy what they do. I will definitely be back for more. Thank you so much!
