Me and the wife recently had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic black family-owned restaurant in Gulfport, Mississippi, and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by a young teenager who was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. The food was absolutely excellent, with each dish bursting with flavor and prepared to perfection. The selection on the menu was impressive, offering a variety of delicious options to choose from. Not only was the food outstanding, but the service was also spot-on. Every staff member was friendly, efficient, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable dining experience. The location added to the charm of the restaurant, providing a wonderful atmosphere to enjoy our meal. One delightful touch was when the teenager, who introduced himself as “Little Daddy,” brought a certain flair to our experience with his charm and enthusiasm. It added a personal touch that made our visit even more memorable. Overall, our experience at this restaurant was a perfect 10 out of 5 stars. We will definitely be returning whenever we find ourselves back in Gulfport, Mississippi. Highly recommended! Wowww!!!! I am in love with place. I have been here twice in the same week . If you are hungry and need a good home cooked meal... Big Daddys Soul Food To Go is the place to go. Service: It took me back home. Everyone is extremely nice and make sure they take care of you if it is your first time. You serve yourself which is great because we all have a preference on what pieces of chicken we want. The food is cheap and good at the same time!!! Food: I am not even sure where to start. It doesn't matter what time of the day you come, either right when they open or when they are about to close, the food is fresh and hot. YOU NEED TO GO EAT HERE!!! Loooove this place ! They have great customer service ! Ms. Honey is the absolute best, she makes you feel so at home and will accommodate you to the best of her abilities. She’s definitely a huge reason I’ll be coming back (maybe later on too lol) I will say they switch out the food they have so come early to get the best options but regardless the food is great. The fried pork chops are too tough , over cooked. The collards taste like crab boil. The cornbread is good. Y'all should just do a little buffet and charge $13.99 for it . You need more seating cos your business is growing. I give three stars because you got too loud 📢 music playing which is gospel . Which isnt bad.

We came down from Tulsa,Oklahoma on vacation and man I tell this was the best food. We had a great visit and to top it off with great food very family atmosphere and the young kids that work in the front was outstanding. You can see the joy in their faces and I love to see a family owned business that has the family so involved with so much respect and love. I will be back next year on my family vacation. What a good spot. First, I have to start out with the service we received! We were greeted, told the process, and checked out by young men... and when I say young men, I mean probably 12 or 13 years old. They were the highlight of the visit to receive that kind of service. Second, the food was delicious. If you're wanting soul food with flavor - this is your place. It is set out buffet style but they have plastic, disposable gloves for guests to use to dish out their food. It's really similar to a meat and three style restaurant but with a twist. I would definitely stop at this location again if we're ever in the area again. Give them a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Some of the most loving and inviting bunch of people! I'm new to the area and usually don't do soul food restaurants, but I missed the taste of it. Thank God I decided to give Big Daddy's a try!!! Man, mess around & go to Big Daddys Soul Food To Go in Gulfport… getcho self blessed. This food is sooooo good. Fresh, even at the end of the day. The staff was very friendly and professional. The store looked fresh and very clean. For those of you who know me, know I am a stickler about cleanliness in restaurants and restrooms. If you’re in this area, you gotta stop by. Brought my family during the lunch rush. We were surprised at how fast we got through, given the crowd. The food was outstanding.
