Wow what a place! My wife Linda and her mother Tina joined me on an excursion to Newport. We ended up receiving multiple recommendations from locals to try BIER ONE. Upon entering we were BLOWN away by the unique chairs and decor. The young deli man was quick to make us delicious sandwiches. He even posed for a picture with my mother-in-law Tina! The bartender was a very nice Goth lady who helped us immensely on selecting our drinks. The locals in the bar seemed like a very content crew if not a little odd (they say the coast has that effect on folks). Next trip to Newport we will definitely be stopping by again!

Adorable folk art rich local watering hole! This place looked cute online but it was even better in person. Great drink options, good looking food (no vegan options it seemed though). Our server was very helpful and charming. Nice private bathrooms. Cute folk art everywhere from the walls to the barstools! Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person $10–20

This is the quintessential neighbor pub! Friendly. Very good beer (schnozzberry and cocoa nib Porter are terrific). They just moved and reopened. added mixed drinks, too. The food menu is above average, and if it does not suit you, there’s a smokehouse food truck on the weekends. Pleasant and friendly. Great for locals and local wannabes.

Small brewery right near the bay front. Great beer and wonderful atmosphere. Bar staff were very friendly to my wife and I. Was able to sample a few beers before selecting the Amber. Good prices and good beer. Dont pass them up!

Did not try the food or snacks but it smelled nice, good selections of beer on Tap nice place to chill and enjoy beers with some people. They have games and outdoor seating wich is nice during sunset. They have beers from allover the state here on Tap. Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Bier One is such a great place! The bartenders were so nice, and they had a great choice of drinks 😊 We had fun playing pool, Foosball, and shuffleboard. There is plenty of room for people to sit at the bar and chat, have room at the tables or play games and not bother people. Good music was playing too!

Fun beer and cocktail choices, newer food menu isnt too bad either. Friendly local hangout, dogs welcome outside with outdoor seating. Hours have gotten better with newer staff, actually open to 11 on a Tuesday for a change! In a town that currently offers two micro brew houses, Beir One is holding it's own with some fierce competition and even serving their competitors libations. The atmosphere is fun, the bartender is 'the friendliest in town' (hey, it says so on the wall), and the use of local artists talents is impressive. But the best part is their beer. We tried every one of their crafts and found them all to be fantastic. The brewery has some serious talent.
