The best vegetarian sushi in south Africa! Compliments to the chef! After we finished our meal we had to order more for take away as the crunch roll was so delicious. The vegetarian combo is recommended!

The sushi looked very good and my friend enjoyed it hugely. Hot sunshine day, friendly service. Would like to see more vegetarian and vegan items on the menu but the veggie poke bowl was good.

Even though the food was lovely and the atmosphere relaxed, the service left a bit of a bad aftertaste.
There were quite a few tables waiting for food or bills while I also had to ask for my bill a few times. A pity, as it's a lovely little spot in Yzerfontein!

We arrived during loadshedding but were told we could still order. We asked for a beer and bottle of rosé and both arrived ice cold, the wine even came with some ice on the side.
Whilst waiting for power to come on, a few sushi plates emerged from the kitchen looking really good. The table that ordered the sushi was quiet for the next 10min, eating every last piece of sushi. One person ordered the fish and chips, which looked equally enticing.
We ordered food once the power came on and it arrived promptly, one poké bowl and one fish and chips.
The poké bowl was very generous and filled with fresh quality ingredients and came with a lovely dressing on the side.
The fish and chips were tops, with slightly crispy and fluffy chips and fresh hake fried in a thin crispy batter. There was a nice little side tartare sauce on the side.
10/10 would go again, their menu has many yummy-looking dishes on offer.

We where 3 guests for dinner. It was not busy at all. The waiter took our order. He wrote everything down on paper. Only 1 starter and 3 Main courses with 1extra side dish (onion rings) The main meals came, mine was steak, with no side dish and they forgot about the starter!
The staff chatted and made jokes behind their counter. It was so noisy that we could not have a conversation with each other. All tables inside were empty, only guests outside. It was really a bad experience, but I admit that the food was good.

Our first visit to this restaurant, and it seemed promising on Instagram. However, the experience left us unimpressed. The burger arrived without lettuce or tomatoes—just a small, overly salty patty on a bun. Disappointing. My mother ordered the Chef salad, but they served a Greek salad with avocado on the side, which wasn't what she had asked for. When we pointed out the mistake, they questioned us. A terrible first experience, and we have no plans to return anytime soon.

Like most resturants in Yzerfontain, the place itself isn't much to write home about. But went twice on our holiday here and I have to say the food is excellent. The steak and lamb chop combo for 2 was particularly good.
