Berryessa has changed to L'apero which serves fruit infused wines. Quite interesting. Staff is really friendly and accommodating. Space is refined, peaceful and fabulous!

Made an impromptu visit to the tasting room on a random Thursday. I had never had the wines before. Everything I tried was fantastic and I walked out with 6 bottles and a membership. The wines are very great and I will definitely be a repeat customer. The server/hostess was so nice and welcoming.

First time wine tasting in this place, the wine was good, service a little loose. The place is awesome, lots of local art on sale, we stayed inside but outside is better. Nice place ✌️😉.

We became members of Berryessa after our first visit to the tasting room in dt Winters. The tasting room is very nicely designed with a simple elegance. The various varietals are very good and the pours are generous. Good choice of charcuterie boards and a nice addition if you're looking for some apps to go along with sips. Linda is very friendly and lovely to visit with. I didn't get the name of her partner but she is also very nice, friendly and both are great representatives of the winery. PS: I should have written more clearly; this was not our first visit to the tasting room, but we did become members after our first visit. And re another review by a Donna Fong, Berryessa didn't become L'Apero...they face each other on Main.
We had such an amazing experience! Every wine we tasted so good. My favorite was the Tempranillo. One of the best I have ever tasted. There honestly was not a wine that we did not all enjoy! We will be back again soon! Thank you Corinne Martinez!

Really fun tasting experience. Wines are quite good for the price point. And great snack options.

Ok; so i,m partial. I happen to be employed here as a wine assistant. Being retired and desirous of a cool place to hang out with friends while having our favorite beverage...wine! Lo and behold here in this quaint early boutique town we found our spot. It was not long that we became members. The good feelings abound here. The vineyard, winery and tasting rooms are owned and operated by a long-time local family. The wine is very good but affordable and you can sit outside comfortably and enjoy it during these pandemic days. A real find.

My wife and I love BG Winery. It has a home like feeling with great wines. We are always having wonderful food events. Tony, in the tasting room, is the bomb. Great personality and very outgoing. He is truly a great guy.

Winters is a quaint and welcoming small town. You just don't find these gems anymore. So if you live nearby or if your traveling it's a must to add to your itinerary. You owe it to yourself in our fast paced world to stop and slow down to the "Winters" experience. Berryessa Gap Tasting room is great place to kick back and enjoy soom of the best wines you will ever have. If you want information about the area or wines they are great..
