Below Zero Ice Bar is pretty near Queenstown Mall. Nicely cooked causa, suppli and laing are the tastiest dishes. Taste delicious fruit juice, it's a must while visiting this bar. Visitors don't highly appreciate liqueur at Below Zero Ice Bar. It's easy to find this place due to its convenient location. The competent staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place great. Professional service is something clients appreciate here. Prices are low for the quality you get. The nice fireplace and quiet atmosphere let guests feel relaxed here. Based on the users' feedback on Google, this spot deserved 4.3.

Such a cool experience! We lasted about 30 minutes before it got too cold for us to withstand. The ice sculptures were awesome and they also had a photobooth. The drinks were nice, especially the frozen agave, and loved that they were served in an ice glass. Make sure to hold onto your ice glass so you can get a cheaper refill for your next drink!

So pretty! We went last year and it was very cold - but they give you coats and gloves etc. They even had ice hockey table that you could play. Bar was good and drinks were nice, you also got to smash the ice cups after outside. The experience was good and I don't regret doing it at all, only thing is that besides taking photos, buying expensive drinks and looking nice you start to get bored of it and want out eventually.

Chris made our experience! He went above and beyond service wise and gave us all plenty of laughs. You’d be very lucky to have him as your bartender. Hard to be so warm and welcoming in such a cold bar 🥶 great fun!

Below Zero is one of the first ice bar that opened in Queenstown. I was in awe gazing in the several ice sculptures that was carved and displayed inside. Kept intact and ice solid by its -12 degrees temperature. You get to choose 1 glass of cocktails/mocktails that comes free with your admission ticket. It is filled up in an ice glass as well. The only negative feedback is that the room was quite smaller than expected and the 1 front staff (female) that day was not too friendly. All of the guests in my batch went out immediately after 15 mins prompting me to not stay long as well.

Cool concept! It’s a fun place to experience. Cocktails weren’t that bad but I expected better. We got bored after 15 minutes and left after half an hour. They need to provide more music and tunes to groove to perhaps? Maybe they do this so deter people from staying longer than a session which only runs for 1 hour.

Staff were very cool. Definitly try dress warm otherwise you'll likely only last 20mins. Great if you want to try something a bit different!

Staff were great, friendly and full of recommendations. Took photos for us and gave quick service. We opted for the 2 drink package which gave us an hour to enjoy the room. Nice ice carvings including an ice hockey table which was absolutely fun! A great and fun experience!

Fun, though a little pricey. We found discount tickets online. It was smaller than I expected but we had a good time playing ice hockey and marveling at the ice sculptures. My drink was pretty tasty, but my husband’s drink was 90% juice.

Quite a unique experience, however the bar is quite small. You must book in advance as they control numbers. Allocate at least 20-25 minutes. You cannot really stay in there too long anyway.
