What a disappointment! We have been going here for years and this was the first time that it really wasn't on par. Being the only patrons, we were waiting 35 minutes for a basic breakfast of eggs, bacon, toast, sausage, mushrooms, and tomato to be told that everything was made from scratch... Yes thank, how else do you make a breakfast?🤨 Sorry to say, but this was the last time... Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

My Quattro Stagioni Pizza was divine & my husband's Prego steak roll was slightly dry Chips was good. Milkshakes out of this world The closure of Clarence drive is limiting their clièntele dramatically so the waiter is not used to paying close attention to the few visitors... First visit, arrived shortly after the kitchen closed, but they were incredibly accommodating and were willing to make us a great pizza with a special ingredient called love ;) Enjoyed the ambience and excellent service. This is the most incredible little hidden gem on the South African Cape Coast line. The harsh beauty of Fynbos meets art. The Restaurant is a collaborative effort of incredible art curation (Some of Africa's best artists featured) and the ultimate in food hospitality. Something else is run by a South African couple who really just understand good food, served with love and passion. Our first visit involved a crispy Eisbein with homemade sauerkraut (mind-blowing). We ate for three days on these #justsaying. Our second encounter at Something Else was truly an education in steak mastery.... I highly recommend a visit in to Rooi Els as and even more so a trip, into the food, passion and art of the team at Something Else! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person R 200–250
