Stepping in here is like taking a step back in time! Everyone is very friendly and the food is very good. Very generous with the portions and what is provided...where else can you go and get soup, salad, your meal and dessert all for one price!! It's very affordable. Highly recommend. This is a very cute place. Very home-y. At first glance there prices might take you by surprise but you get so much included for that price, and the portions are huge. The dessert options are plentiful and staff was very kind. If you have a large group, it can seem a bit tight, (which we did, 14, on a reservation) but they did everything to accommodate us and make sure we enjoyed our time. Definitely will be back. Very disappointed....sorry. Went here for the first time after seeing a picture or two of one of my favorite dishes....jumbo lump crab meat. It looked great in the pictures that others posted, but here's what I got. It was really a sad looking dish all the way around. How can you even call this Jumbo? This is tiny bits of tiny crab pieces. You should have been embarrassed to serve something like this!!! The 2 star rating is because the other dishes were fine, but mine was a minus 5. This is unfortunately a one and done for us. We will never come back. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

It has been years since visiting with Lorraine & Denise. The food was amazing. Portions were large sending us home with lunch. Chicken noodle soup was so tasty. Lump crabmeat was outstanding. So good to go back to a place that does not change the quality in service that I always remembered. Looking forward to coming back a lot more. If you are looking for that old country eatery this is it! The food was delicious! Unlike other restaurants who give you a choice of either soup or salad this place gives you both. They also bring you warm homemade bread that is perfectly baked. 2 people can stuff their faces here for under $100! Thats with a carafe of wine too! I drove from Nazareth to check this place out and will be visiting again! Great people! Stopped in without reservations, even tho they were busy, they got us in. Food was very good, escargot excellent. The one special I ordered, duck l'orange, was cooked very well. Prices reasonable, portions nice. Felt the beer menu could be a little deeper. Service was a bit slow, brought me the wrong beer, no one checked on us, but they were swamped. We celebrated my husband's birthday. Our dinner's consisted of generous portions: salmon in dill sauce, crab stuffed lobster tail, and fried shrimp. Each dinner included salad, soup, choice of potato, vegetable, and dessert. Our server Jen J provided our table with excellent service! Our overall experience was fantastic!
