Great environment that is made better by awesome people serving delicious coffee. Talking with the staff - you’ll find out quickly they are passionate and enthusiastic about the philly coffee scene. They’ll talk you through their roasting process and offer a variety of drinks. I went with hot drip and cold brew during my visit and both were great. The hot drip was perfect to sip while I caught up with a friend. The cold brew is on the stronger end and drank that as I drove home. Great cafe - definitely recommend. Bean2bean has always had a great cup of coffee, but they have really stepped it up with the cafe experience. Inside Billy Penn, the cafe has its own quiet corner with plenty of places to sit that feel like a lounge or a personal workspace. The cafe has a wide variety of items from pastries and bagels to full breakfast/lunch menu items with a rotating specials menu. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items to provide descriptions or alterations. Jonathan who works behind the counter has become one of my favorite people to see, and he is able to explain any vegan/vegetarian options and provide guidance as well as provide recommendations based on his favorite coffee orders. I’d say it’s a great place to stop for a quick espresso and pastry or a full breakfast or lunch in the middle of your weekday. Could not recommend any higher. This is hands down my favorite coffee shop in philly, right inside Billy Penn studios!! The coffee is always amazing, their specials are unique and delicious. The staff are by far the friendliest people you will meet and willing to help you figure out what you want. They have different food pop-ups all the time, that include veg options. Don’t miss out on getting a pastelillos from their everyday menu. The space is great for getting some work done or just hanging out. I’m a sucker for some fun murals and they have a few. The baristas are warm and the vibe is cool- As an enthusiastic coffee drinker, I can assure you Bean2Bean raises the bar from their drip coffee to their specialty drinks to their finely curated menu. There is no better coffee in Philadelphia. I always look forward the opportunity to stop by and see what’s new in the pastry case or if they have any innovative drinks (ask them if they’re working on anything new! ) You can also bring a bag of their beans home, pick up a mug or some other cool things they have. Great if you’re going to a meeting and want to bring a gift or out the door and forgot moms b-day! A true hidden gem. Go there asap and try for yourself! Great coffee, great food, great people. Have not been able to stop drinking their cold brew. The breakfast sandwiches and the pastelillos are delicious and generously portioned. Love the coworking environment, and the signature colors and aesthetics Bean2Bean give the whole experience a warm and nostalgic glow while still feeling like a trendy new coffee spot. I recently visited the new Bean 2 Bean cafe and wowwww! The coffee remains as delicious as ever (especially the cold brew), but the food truly makes this cafe stand out!! I personally love the BBLT and the Hello It's Me, but I don't think you could wrong with any choice. In addition to the delicious bites and coffee, the staff is welcoming and so so friendly! HUGE PLUS - the space is located in Billy Penn Studios so while the cafe closes at 3, you can stay in the cafe seating and continue to work or hang after the cafe closes! The bean2bean cafe is delicious and convenient. Try out their food, got the papas bravas with an egg on top, it's good looking and tasty comfort food. As far as drinks go, they're also awesome. Theres plenty of seating and a relaxed vibe, it's the perfect place to take a meeting or work remotely, it's open to the public! I'm a barista with Bean 2 Bean; working at this café is a delight—the atmosphere is welcoming, and there's a genuine sense of camaraderie among both the staff and customers. Despite moving to the west coast a number of years ago, I still haven’t found a coffee I enjoy more than Bean2Bean. Generally, I purchase beans directly on their website and make some incredible cold brew at my home in California. Last time I ventured east to visit my family, I was super excited to see that Bean2Bean opened a cafe in Philadelphia. The only thing that topped the atmosphere, was the smooth, rich tasting cold brew. One day I’ll perfect my brewing method, but until then, I’ll savor every sip I get directly from the cafe.
