So we decided to try somewhere we haven’t been and when I say they could’ve kept the restaurant and the food, throw everything away. Felt like a restaurant off of one of the National Lapoon movies. Super outdated..food was mediocre & just “ok” absolutely nothing spectacular. Def a place to grab a bite if you need a break from gambling. We got the spinach dip, stuffed shrimp, surf n turf, red velvet cake…all was just 😑. Def needs a menu & environment upgrade! We have visited this restaurant a lot. But this weekend was the worse. Waitress was ditsy to say the least. Got our order about 20 minutes after being seated. Brought soups and salads out before appetizer. Brought charbroiled oysters out right before our meal. Cheese was hot but Oyster meat COLD. My husband got the crab special. It was less than a pound of crab on his plate. And they were rubbery with the crab meat stuck to shell. My son and wife got one of the crab bucket and it was decent. I always get the lobster and this was the first time I wanted to send it back. Over cooked and I ordered a two pound lobster and I think it was barely a pound. Our bill was over two hundred dollars and I was happy I had comps because I would be very unhappy if I had to pay for this meal. Will be a long time if I ever go back. Ate here for my mom’s birthday and haven’t had that good of service ever anywhere. Terry was so awesome and patient with us. I can’t compliment her enough. Food was great too! This place is like the heavens opened up and dumped out on a plate, it's straight up slap your grandma delicious. Can't say enough good things about the staff, our waitress Brittany made the experience and our anniversary dinner that much gooder!

I had previously had a good review on here for this restaurant however after my last visit I had to change that review. I was with my gf and her parents and we spent almost 200 dollars and got a bunch of royal reds and the crab/shrimp specials etc. Everything was overcooked. And I specifically requested that they make sure it wasn't. Through no fault if the server. Our server was great. But the kitchen failed to deliver good food and I wasted a ton of money on overcooked seafood. A restaurant should be reviewed on the sum of its parts.. and when you waste 200 dollars of my money that about sums it up. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I love the ability of using comps from money gambled to eat meals within the Island View family of businesses. The royal red shrimps are sweet and juicy, try them! The seafood platters are perfect to share. I'm not sure what seasoning they use but they are so flavorful. I have always had great service. They have a pretty cool fountain outside where you can sit on the patio. All right across the street from the casino!

Wow! Another local restaurant that did not disappoint. The service and atmosphere that our server, John, provided was exceptional. Request John! He is in his element for sure! Two families shared the Jumbo Platter for Six. It was HUGE! The drawn butter is served over a flame to keep it warm. That was a nice touch. Several types of crab and shrimp to choose from. The Praline Cheesecake was a great finish to the meal.

5+ STARS!! Our server, Brittany, was excellent! The food was beyond delicious! Took 2 separate pictures of the Redfish Pontchartrain! Took the crab off the top of the Redfish! Went down on 12/22/23 with my girlfriend and her family, I had the woodfired grilled chicken and shrimp and it was absolutely DELICIOUS... Also the shrimp were large and cooked to perfection.. Had Gumbo instead of salad and it was spot on, the okra was not too hard or too gooey.... I highly recommend eating here if you get the chance!!!!!
