Food: I came here for the baklawa. They came pre-packaged for $7.99, so unfortunately they weren't fresh, but they still tasted fine reheated. The baklawa was very flaky and not too sweet, which I liked. I think the amount that I got was good for the price. I would grab another box to satisfy a craving. Service: This is a market, so there is no service, but I had no issues with the cashier. Ambiance: There is a small parking lot out front.

Best Middle Eastern grocery in Boston! So many great things made fresh in the store; especially great for lent! We shop here every week and have for years. The staff are always so nice and helpful - and did I say the best Middle Eastern food in Boston? Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

Bay Sweets Market is the best grocery store I’ve ever been to. You could subsist for a lifetime on the delicious, healthy foods that they sell, and of course they make sandwiches and snacks and sell wine and booze! The staff is absolutely wonderful too!!!

Great grocery items that are hard to find in regular stores, with great home made baked goods. Always very clean and great service.

Love their freshly baked fatayer and manaeesh. Also the kibbeh is excellent. It’s a small store but I can easily find my essential middle eastern staples such as labneh, cheese, olives and frozen goods.

Truly wanted to love this place but instead was sold expired silvered almonds. I’m only giving three stars because the front desk cashier woman was polite and professional about me asking for a refund. The almonds have expiration dates on the bags that are all crossed out with a black sharpie. It’s Sept and I could have sworn the expiration date under the black marker says April. As I was leaving the store I felt like something was weird so I decided to try one and woah, it was old, stale, and left a really bad aftertaste. I immediately returned it.

Great store. My husband thinks their kibbe is the best he ever had! Loaded up on up on spinach and meat breads and other middle eastern spices i can't get where i live. Will definitely come back and try their sandwiches and dessert.

I came in on a rainy day but I left wanting to have a picnic with my delightful treats!! The savory meat and spinach pies, cheese boats, and homemade pita chips + hummus are fantastic, and the sweet treats (cookies and baklava) were a huge hit for my family. I was unfamiliar with many of the prepared foods but the friendly people working there provided plenty of assistance. I'll definitely come back!
