Absolutely happy with the birthday cake we ordered ! The intricate design exceeded our expectations and the flavors were an absolute delight. The team's attention to detail was great! Highly recommend this cake shop for any occasion!

OMG! We stopped by after dinner this evening to find they were almost sold out. However they did have a Chocolate Cream Pie. We got it home to share and WOW! Absolutely scrumptious! We’re determined to show up earlier for a broader selection. Back to finish it…

The store is kinda hidden. The staff are always so sweet. The designs are adorable. That being said. The cupcakes are about $4 a cake. An with that being said they only do a few cream cheese ones. An with that being said their cream cheese ones are pretty gross. No cream cheese taste what so ever. No sweetness to the cake. Took two bites. Handed it to the next person who took a bite an they too didn’t want it. Pretty cakes dressed up. Missing the punch for sure. Not my cup of tea. But they designs are cute an forsure would make a nice addition for a bday etc.

Portion of the cupcakes is great. The moistness and flavor is good. I'm giving 3 stars due to being extremely sweet to the point of overpowering (frosting and cupcake itself). Sweetness of the frosting and cake should be reduced by 25%. Otherwise, everything was great.

Got the red velvet cupcake (my favorite cupcake flavor). The cake was good and moist, BUT…. The frosting tasted exactly like grocery store frosting in a tub. So disappointing. The place was cute and the cupcakes look great, but I just can’t do artificial frosting. For almost $5 I expected real butter and cream cheese in the frosting

I'm a cupcakeaholic I was so excited a new place opened. I tried Batter and Icing in Pleasant Hill, about 2 weeks ago and have been coming to get cupcakes at least 3 times a week for my salon and for gifts. They also offer pupcakes and cakes. We ordered a 4inch cake for our pups birthday . He loved it. The cupcakes are so moist inside. I recommend all of them 🤣
