The food was amazing they had good service enjoyed the food a lot and ambiance was awesome. I felt the table for 4 people was bit small. Service was also so good. We sat outside. Friendly and attentive staff, quick service. Tasty cocktails. Good music by the DJ too - and not too loud. We had five dishes, where the grilled tuna was the winner, followed by the potatas bravas. Only thing pulling down the overall impression was toilet stall without paper (not late in the evening either). Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Went here for dinner with my family and was quite pleased with the experience. Staff was attentive and friendly and the venue was cool—the restaurant is situated in an old bank with classic decor and a domed ceiling. I would recommend the gambas, quesadillas and mixed cheese and cold cuts platter. Service Dine in

Localities - impressive and castle lookalike interior. But the wooden table was a little bit high. Food - really good for both eyes and mouth. Service - was really good and we caught their attention as soon as we wanted something.

Great place! Best in Karlstad. Love the ambiance and the service from the personal. Lovely dishes ect. 2 points about the meny; - please make vegi meals more clear on the meny - and make a English meny, i come a sometimes with international people who do not speak swedish and i have to translate the whole time.

A decent number of amazing tapas. Plates comes in different sizes, each good for its kind. Friendly and professional staff, nice selection of beer and wine. We sat outside pretty well protected from heavy rain.

We visited my parents this weekend and decided to try out @baronkarlstad. The setting of the restaurant is beautiful located in an old bank and it feels luxury to enter the doors, far from an ordinary tapas restaurant where it almost always is more intimate. It's cool but we can imagine the acoustic being a big problem with the high ceiling and hard walls. Anyway, the food was good! Some dishes really good and some dishes a bit disappointing. The top three were the potatoes, the mushrooms and the fish taco. The disappointment was the Pata Negra ham, which tasted far from what I'm used to when it comes to quality. But overall we had a really pleasant evening.
