I enjoy this location solely for its size. The product and size of the location are mind blowing. Customer service isn't there, all staff were silent and or looking busy. If you do your research on what you want to find, I'm sure you'll find it here. The cafe is even a great size. Now with the customer service being nonexistent, I could spend hours here unbothered. You can find a spot and read your day away. Magazine section is unbelievable so if that's your jam, this is the place for you here. Great parking, I can always find a spot close to the door. Your kids have an area to stretch their legs, even if there are multiple families in the area, you'd need 8-9 families to feel crowded. Overall I would return, again, the amount of product here is amazing and I can always find the book I'm looking for.

I went in about 30 minutes to closing time looking for a nice journal. At first I only saw the small amount of journals they had on the display table by the entrance, but a member of the staff pointed me in the direction of a vast amount of journals and explained sale prices to me. It was a nice selection of blank page, lined, self care journals and more. They had a journal for every cause. The prices ranged from low to high, so depending on your budget it was something there for you. I love the journal I have!

Clearly the store manager could care less about any level of customer service. Tried to exchange 2 books given for Christmas and didn’t have a receipt so Mary the manger informed us that books can be bought any where thus a receipt is required. We had a book at store pick up and when we said to return that she pointed to another area and said “she can help you” while pointing across the store. Not only has B&B lost my business for life I will also tell this story over and over to ensure none of my family and friends frequent this company. Sad that a simple exchange (literally needed a different volume of the same series and a hardcover version of the same book) has now turned into lost revenue for the day and a loyal customer. Mary, you shouldn’t be working in retail as your etiquette is quite atrocious.

Kathryn at the register was amazing! She made my day by bonding over similarities and by telling me about the membership for educators. She went above and beyond. People should learn customer service skills from her. Thank you so much :)

This is one of my favorite Barnes and Noble to frequent in all the metro. The layout of the place is very open and makes things easy to find. Staff is always cheerful, helpful and available. Place is top notch

I love how much B&N has changed over the years with the new CEO. While I still prefer indie bookstores, at least B&N has regional differentiation and a good selection.
Pros: Decent selection of books in children's area. Staff in the children's area are helpful. Customer service area staff have been helpful on a couple of different occassions as well. Cons: -Checkout has been a very long line (either understaffed and once not staffed at all) every time we've gone in. -The manager has been rude and condescending on two separate occassions; on one occassion she rudely commented on my partner's name saying 'it can't be spelled like that' after pressuring her to get a membership. The more reccent time we went in the same manager was rude from the get-go. -When we tried to return a product that we weren't happy with the manager was condescending; she also refused the return despite us returning it in 'like new' condition (though opened), under 30 days, and with a receipt.

I'm just happy book stores made it through the covid junk. Still more expensive than online but you don't go to these stores for the price. You go for the smell and the feel and being surrounded by countless authors and knowledge.

As one of the last remaining brick and mortal retail bookstores this place is amazing.

Staff were nice. Bought a trading card box from this location. Got home and found out it was an already opened box. The packs were already opened. I told them there were taped inside so it was hard to tell if it was a open box. They couldn’t do anything about it because they got no proof of it being already open before I opened it. But how can I show proof when the store isn’t a trading store where you can open it there? Not just that, but not many people would open their trading cards at the store and rather do it at home. Manager directed me to contact excel(the distributor) or the Pokémon company. It must be an employee who works there or someone from the distribution center. It’s very frustrating because it’s a grind to find trading cards now a day with all these scalpers. Imagine if it was a little kid who loves Pokémon cards and end up opening one that’s already open. Whoever did this, I don’t know how you’re living with yourself. I hope Karma will come.
