The staff was very professional and friendly, even with our well behaved dog, who came with us for dinner. The food was cooked to perfection and the flavour was very good too. The ambience was chill, very clean and well organized. A highly recomended restaurant which I look forward to visiting again.

The food was divine, this place was recommended by my father in law to be, as this was his village growing up and the food didn’t disappoint at all.

A very enjoyable long-lunch on a nice sunday afternoon. The restaurant was full, but the service was still on point. Nice wine options and a very tasty menu, with good variety of classic tastes with an interesting twist on each. The wild boar mini burgers were delicious, but what caught my attention in particular was the grilled brioche with fresh ricotta cheese and salmon Roe which was special of the day that will soon hopefully feature on the regular menu. The buttermilk coated and fried rabbit liver was also very nice (and original). Staff were friendly, attentive and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit.

Very good restaurant overall. Very good wine list, attentive staff and all the food ordered was very good. But if you really want to get my 5 stars, get rid of the frozen fries that are served and the paper napkins. Personally not acceptable in such restaurants.
Had been wanting to go for quite some time. The place is really well decorated with close attention to details. The staff are amazing, very attentive and extremely polite. The food is great. Will definitely go be back!

This is a hidden gem in the middle of the island 💎 If you’re around Dingli cliffs I would highly recommend this restaurant for dinner. The food, the ambiance, the service and everything was just perfect. We had Grilled Octopus 🐙 which is served with hummus that is topped with crushed nuts. It was very delicious 😋 We also had Mini Burgers 🍔 They could be cooked just a little bit more but overall was very good. Pappardelle Pasta with prawns was absolutely delicious and quite big portion 🦐 We also ordered Tripled Cooked Potatoes 🥔. They were crunchy but we found them a little bit too oily. On the other hand, the shredded truffle topping was a very good touch. They have a wide range of wines. We haven’t had any but the list was very enticing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They took good care of us. Can’t wait to visit Barbajean again 🤩

First visit for new years day lunch. They had a set menu with 4 courses plus focaccia and a palate cleanser for a very reasonable price. Pick of the bunch were the lobster and crab ravioli and the dessert but everything was perfectly cooked and very tasty and with a mix of flavours (some Asian influences with lemongrass and coconut milk based sauce for meagre to beef cheeks in red wine sauce with potato cream and truffles).
The service was excellent, not intrusive but there when you need anything. We didn't have to wait at all between dishes, everything came to the table in a steady flow.
Overall a great place, will certainly be back when next in Malta.
I loved the place, decoration, atmosphere and food !!! Highly recommended

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of dining at Barbajean. It was truly a wonderful experience, from the moment we set foot in the establishment.
Firstly, we were greeted by a kind and professional waiting staff - the true definition of service with a smile. They continually checked on us throughout our meal and poured our drinks. The bathrooms were clean and the overall decor is incredibly unique.
Secondly, the food was divine, through and through, starting with the appetizers: the scotch egg with a Maltese twist is a must when visiting this restaurant! My husband ordered the fried ravioli which were mouth-watering: crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside, as they should be. With respect to the entrees, we ordered the rigatoni cacio e pepe and the gnocchi with stilton cheese. we were pleasantly surprised to see a large portion size and in fact, we ask to take the rest home as we could not finish it!
Finally, we were given such a lovely treat when ordering our desserts! We had casually mentioned that we had been there celebrating our anniversary and along with the divine pannacotta that we ordered, we were surprised with a huge sparkler and two glasses of prosecco on the house, accompanied by all the waiting staff wishing us a 'Happy Anniversary'.
My only 'criticism' would be the music: it is rather loud and personally, not my taste in music (deep house/techno-style music). Perhaps on the weekend, it could be switched to light Jazz or any other sort of music that is not too heavy.
You will definitely be seeing us again! Well done <3
