Came on a Thursday with live music and sat at the bar with US Soccer on. Great atmosphere, and food to follow. The Sopas tortilla soup was amazing and the Nachos were very good, but a little different than your traditional American style nachos. These were elevated with an individual bite type preparation. We were driving back from Harvard, MA and stumbled upon this gem. The food is SPECTACULAR! The service was AMAZING. The restaurant is decorated very well. The food comes out super fast and is delicious. They have a large menu to chose from. There is something for everyone. Do order the tacos and the chicharrones. They are to die for. The guacamole is the best I have had in MA. They have Mexican coke which is great. Their cimarronas are very good. For dessert order the churros. They are delicious and the presentation is quite fun. First impressions - the place looks phenomenal with good music. Cocktails were great, food not so much, from my point of view at least. I'm Hispanic, I know how dishes are supposed to look like. Since it was my first time I decided to go with tacos de birria, to see if it was an "authentic" Mexican place how it's portrayed by choosing this plate to the test. I was left disappointed. Tacos de birria aren't supposed to look like this, the taste was okay. Also, other places usually give rice and beans, they asked me to pick between rice or beans, why? Just why? If your having dinner and there is space at the Bar sit there- Holly is a wonderful, attentive, and knowledgeable bartender. The food was delicious- I highly recommend the asada fajitas. Well worth the trip to Devens. Best, most authentic Mexican and TexMex ever eaten in Massachusetts. Celebrating multiple birthdays, so did not skimp on ordering. If you want Americanized food, this is not the place for you. Dined on a Saturday night. Indoors was packed and a bit warm. Bar drinks were well balanced flavor wise and well made. Chicharones and tamelitos appetizers were fantastic. Forgot to take pics. Entrees were great. Tasted even better than the gorgeous presentation. I had the enmoladas. Sauce was complex cocoa and chiles; savory, not sweet. Generous shredded chicken filling absorbed its sauce, so needed sour cream or guacamole to help chew. Came here ate @ the bar with a buddy Good service good food the sauces were good salsa was good also guacamole was Good also steak a lil Chewy in a couple parts shrimp was good. Drinks are always great. Street corn is always fresh. I am always impressed with how fresh the food is... the place looks like a chain from the outside, but don't be fooled. This place is a hidden gem. We've been going to Bandeleros for a couple years now and have yet to have a bad meal. Waitstaff is attentive and not pushy. High marks for service and quality. Even my picky 7 year old likes it! Fajitas usually have enough left overs for a delicious Mexican omelet the next day. Yummy! Always seeking out Mexican cuisine for me and my family. Today we ventured 45 minutes to Bandoleros and it did not disappoint! We were welcomed with smiles and promptly seated. Beautiful inside and out. Super fresh and clean with great music playing. My margarita was super fresh and delicious. Guacamole was spot on and the cheese dip was served with these beautiful puffy tortilla chips that held the cheese perfectly. My husband loves chille rellano but it's been difficult to find one he really loves. He was so happy that he took one to go! We enjoyed our meal from beginning to end and will definitely return soon. Has an excellent dinner with drinks. The Mexican street corn was divine and the Mexican coke was a nice addition. The food was authentic and came out with very little wait. Our server was very attentive - bringing more water to our table without us even asking for it is so appreciated. I do not like cilantro and my friend is a vegetarian, and he accommodated our menu questions with ease. I will definitely be returning for the street corn and cocktails!
