We had booked a reservation for 6 dinner in the lodge. Incredible service, the food was perfect. Everyone in our party raved about the meal. Atmosphere, is 100% camp.

My husband and I are frequent visitors to the Rangeley area and this was our 2nd time dining at the Bald Mountain Camp Resort. Our lovely server, Sarah, made us feel right at home and made me a delicious blueberry martini. I had the scallops and my husband had the steak. Both were excellent, as well as the clam chowder. The sunset over Mooselookmeguntic Lake was extremely beautiful. We hope to see you again the next time we visit.

We snowmobile 139 miles that day. They opened up the extra dining room for us. Great service and accommodations.

food quality was very disappointing for the price, with almost every dish I tasted (swordfish, chicken pot pie, caesar salad, lobster mac). would definitely recommend going elsewhere especially after being made fun of by a patron the moment I walked through the door. the only silver lining was our waitress who seemed unhappy to be there but still kept up a smile for us

This is an absolutely beautiful slice of heaven. They provided excellent service and were the most gracious hosts for our large wedding party. Highly recommend.

This is such a great place for a restaurant. The lake views are great and the inside is really nice. Unfortunately the food is just OK at ridiculously high prices. If you want that to price the menu in this way you need to back it up with first class food. This is not the case here. We felt that the chicken parmigiana and fish and chips were no better than we could make at home.

Finally timed a visit to have their spectacular prime rib. Also their clam chowder is the best in the region. Couple that with the ambiance and million dollar views of Mooseluck, and it's a pretty great dining experience.

After coming to the Rangeley area for 10+ years, we decided to try the Bald Mtn Camps restaurant for dinner. We looked online at the menu a couple days beforehand (which looked great - a lot of options at multiple price points), and made a reservation. When we arrived, we saw that the menu at the restaurant was very different than the menu they posted online. 75% of the low- to mid-price point options had been removed and featured seafood and expensive steaks. Our party opted for wedge salad and New England clam chowder for apps and the cheeseburger, spinach ravioli, and chicken pot pie for dinner. Dinner was good, drinks were better. Unfortunately we were a bit let down about the different menu and the price point. Highly suggest calling beforehand to get an updated menu as the one online is incorrect.

This is the 2nd time renting a cabin. First visit was great. This time, after paying way too much (knew what we were getting into) we realized there was no kitchen OR kitchenette. Either way, that wasn't the issue. The day we left, in the evening, the front desk clerk was telling everyone sitting at the bar that we were a terrible group, who left with a balance still on the camp, left a fish in the garbage, and only left a $6 tip. She obviously didn't realize that one of our group had come back for dinner and heard it all. My balance of $1100 for 2 nights was charged the instant we left in the morning....the fish was full of worms, so we put it in the garbage....and we left at least $20 in one dollar bills for the cleaner. The biggest problem was that saying I still owed a balance. Very unprofessional from the staff and we will not be going back. On the other hand the kids coming around to make sure we had everything we needed was very cool.
