On my way to attend funeral 7 years ago, we stopped by this place for a quick breakfast around 5am while the sky was dark. It was very traditional Taiwanese style without too much decor and with grease on the tables. Tablewares were worn out that you could see the age and people were still coming in and out nonstop. We did not know how good this was, it was just the first one we saw after highways exit. But we thought we found the hidden treasure. The freshly slaughtered beef was really fresh and you still could smell how fresh that was. After hot soup was poured in, it turned the soup to light brown and the beef turn white. The flavor was sweet and unlike frozen meat, it was what’s famous in Tainan. This has been the locals’ breakfast for decades if not for centuries. The cost and the flavor offset the shortcomings of the service or the chairs and tables. Overall, we were not here for Michelin star standard, it was a meal and it was good. The place was tiny, we were the only strangers and everyone seemed to know each other and it was just so Tainan. I like it and I will definitely try again when I am in Taiwan. 牛肉湯份量足，湯頭鮮美。牛肉燴飯鍋氣香，很合胃口。但没有提供白飯吃到飽，也没有單炒青菜，只能點各式牛肉現炒，人少時吃不完，不好點餐，最後2個人只點了2碗牛肉湯，一個燴飯再單點一碗白飯吃。 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

2022/10 這家好像是白河附近最有名的牛肉湯店了！生意超級爆好！😮 週三晚上來用餐，內用沒啥人，但外帶的人潮絡繹不絕，電話也是接不停！幾乎都是在地人來買的！店內環境以這樣的傳統老店來看算是相當乾淨的了！店家雖然很忙但動作迅速，態度也算相當有禮！👍 餐點價錢清一色都是$110 不貴！但份量當然也不算太多，一份大概2~3人吃差不多！牛肉湯好喝，但相對牛腩湯味道就比較清淡一點，白飯的碗相當的古早味，大男生至少要兩碗才夠😅 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $200–400 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2
