I ask them to double toast my bagel every time and 70% of the time they don’t toast it at all. Whenever I order online I have to write in the comments “please double toast” and it’s the only time they ever do it. I saw a worker on her phone today while there were 10+ people in the store and guess what? My bagel was not double toasted or toasted at all for that matter even though the ticket specifically says “double toasted”. What’s the point in having that option if you’re not gonna do it? As one of the only bagel places in State College, Bagel Crust needs to step their game up and actually follow the instructions on the ticket.

I ordered two bagels this morning and got completely the wrong order. After asking the kid working behind the counter for my order, he told me that I would have to pay for it again. Another $20 later, and I leave with two bagels, only to get home and realize that this guy got one of the orders wrong AGAIN. Is this a joke, bagel crust? I just wanted my bagel sandwich, but I got yelled at by your employees and ripped off. Not. Pleased.
Excellent! Taste great! Bagels are so on point and lots of variety. My only issue is that they are a tad bit on the pricey side for breakfast. They do make the bagels every morning. Milk is from Meyers dairy which is great.

I found a massive piece of plastic wrapping in my bacon egg and cheese. It was about the size of half the sandwich, and I only realized it was there after I had taken a bite from it. Definitely stick to the Calder Way location if you want Bagel Crust.
For being a new place, it’s not bad at all. The food is pretty good, especially given that it’s a few blocks over from Irving’s. The atmosphere is in need of work, though. They need much more seating, an absence of deli cases, and something other than a 5-gallon tailgating cooler for water dispensation.

These bagels are amazing!! Closest I have found to a true New York bagel from my childhood on long Island. My favorite is Asiago everything!
Great idea and the food was pretty good. Like the previous reviewer said, the place needs some polishing so it doesn't look like it was started on a painfully low budget (even if it was - which there is nothing wrong with). To add to what was already mentioned, some coat hangers would be great too. We will for sure be back though!
