I recently dined at this Italian restaurant and was thoroughly impressed by their seafood linguine and lasagna. The seafood linguine was cooked to perfection with a fresh lobster and a flavorful sauce that complemented the dish well. The lasagna was rich and delicious, with layers of perfectly cooked pasta, savory meat, and creamy cheese. The portion sizes were generous, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone craving authentic and delicious Italian cuisine.

Lobster Linguine
Summary-for the price, I wouldn't recommend the place. Food is just about ok, service is ok, ambience is ok. Basically at about 90-100 bucks a head, there are just a lot of better Italian options in Singpaore.
What I liked - the lobster linguine was great, the lasagne was nicely done as well, the cake slice was quite tasty, Italian Chardonnay decent. Calamari was not too bad as well
What I didn't like - very average pesto pasta, focaccia was freshly baked but not the thick fluffy kinds we were expecting (it just felt like pizza dough), the burrata was dry (like what you'd get from cold storage) on top of Malaysian tomatoes, the cheese/meat platter was average for the price again (again like a cold storage assembly). We went here for a bday dinner and while I appreciate the cake slice (played happy bday in 3 languages) but it was 20 bucks.

Chanced upon this about one year old restaurant while passing by the area and decided to visit this place to explore their Italian cuisines given the high ratings. We thoroughly enjoyed the dishes we ordered. The creamless Spaghetti Carbonara is amazingly creamy with fatty crispy Guanciale that explodes in the mouth; succulent grilled lamb chops, and finished with Panetonne with Lemoncello. A place that I would certainly return.

Had an amazing lunch here. Everything from the appetizers (Parmigiana, Arancini) to the mains (Spaghetti Seafood, Lamb) were delicious. Portions were generous and the excellent service. Will definitely be back to try the other dishes and desserts.

Francesco and Evelyn were great hosts and the food was wonderful. The white wine mussels were tasty. All the pastas were amazing! We got aglio e olio, vongole, beef bolognese and cacio e pepe and they all hit the spot. The desserts were decadent too. Panna cotta had mango in it and the cream was indulgent and delicious, not too sweet. The tiramisu was also chefs kiss. The pistachio gelato 💥 with homemade biscotti 💥💥 One of the best Italian places I’ve been in Katong 🥰

We had the pleasure of savoring an authentic carbonara, prepared with the simplest yet most exquisite combination of egg and cheese. The lasagna was equally exceptional in its flavour too. We are already planning our next return, all thanks to the culinary delight that is Bacino!

We’ve visited this restaurant twice so far, and we plan to return as often as possible. Every single dish we’ve tried has been fantastic! I’m not crazy about pizza dough but their dough is just so nicely soft and tasty. We even bought an extra pizza for takeaway on our last visit. The spaghetti vongole and carbonara are also good, the beer is cheap, and the staff are nice 👍🏻
Do opt to sit inside the restaurant if you are sensitive to cigarette smoke.
Parking is quite a problem so either go there via public transport, or go at off-peak periods. The restaurant is located along a busy road which only has a few parallel parking lots. The parking along the other streets are usually full but you can always try to check it out. Other options include parking at the shopping centres farther down the road but take note it will be a 10-15 minute walk after.

Burrata
So many Italian restaurants to choose from and by leap of faith I chose the new kid on the block, Bacino based on google reviews.
It DID NOT disappoint and lives up to the reviews.
Everything we had was done perfectly.
The burrata with hot spinach was unique and very nicely done. The pizza with mushroom and burrata was unique but very nice too.
Food plus service by Francesco made the night perfect.
Hope to be back soon.

Highly recommend their carbonara, proper one. Only egg yolk w some pecorino, eggplant parmigiana also good, though the cheese is slightly too much. Vitello tonnato a bit hard to chew, also way too much salt. Service super good.

Authentic Italian Experience!
I recently stumbled upon Bacino Italian Bistro in the Joo Chiat area, and it turned out to be a delightful find. The cozy ambiance, the very friendly manager and the quality of the food made the entire dining experience wonderful. 🍝🍷
