Perfect place for a good sandwich and French onion soup! Menu is simple and delicious. Cool twist on standard items. Had the Italian chicken salad. Atmosphere and staff are A++++++++

Absolutely loved this place. The vibe is super relaxing and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and engaging. It was crowded when we went at peak lunch so you know the food is good. I even thought our food would take forever but our plates were out in like 5 minutes! We ordered 4 things off the menu and everything was fresh and delicious and so well presented! The strawberry brownie was seriously the best thing I’ve ever had in my mouth! I do not even like sweets and this was outstanding. They make everything in house. (Except bread) but the bread was delicious and fresh! Go. Just go. Its off the beat and path but independent businesses like this need and deserve support. You can tell they put their heart and soul into what they do and they enjoy their work! That’s where I prefer to spend my money.

Awesome atmosphere. Great service and amazing food. It’s not too pricey either. Definitely going to be a regular pitstop for me.
Everything I’ve tried here is great. The roast beef sandwich was phenomenal, definitely recommend. Also you can get the CBD infused drinks which is hard to find on the south side.

This cafe just opened and close to the house so I had to check it out. I had to try the ginormous cinnamon rolls that everyone has been raving about, let me tell you, it was to die for. It was beyond delicious! I’m super picky on my coffee so I took a chance and ordered a latte, another winner. The atmosphere was so welcoming and laid back. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and nice. I definitely recommend to check them out if you haven’t, you won’t be disappointed. I can’t wait to try other items on the menu.

Best Cinnamon Rolls EVER! In fact, ALL of the pastries (tried 7 of them so far) are fabulously delicious. Far better than a good bakery and elevated with quality ingredients and not trendy spices. This is a community Cafe and has great vibes with the Staff invested in Blue Island and its people. Absolutely a great addition to the food world! Delicious food!!!!! This review is from a true Foodie having eaten out 1 to 3 times a day for the past 50 years. The pastries are worth my two hour drive to get to the B*U*B. Congratulations to the Team.
