Photos don't do justice. Pizza puff was old and looked like a burnt lasagna noodle. The outside was burnt. The Chicago style hot dog was nothing of the sort. If this is Wisconsins version of "Chicago style" you may want to reconsider a new passion. This was the first and last time I will ever go to this restaurant. Not only was the food terrible, she messed up the order. That was not the most aggravating part of this, the fact anyone would call this Chicago style food, that's more insulting then you actually messing up the order. I will make sure to share this as I have several friends from out of state who look for specifically Chicago style food and this was a HUGE let down. Sorry, but you totally missed the "AUTHENTIC CHICAGO STYLE FOOD!" NEVER AGAIN! DISGUSTING! GROSS!

The first time I went (Aug 11, first pic) I had an awesome experience, great food and service. I went again yesterday (Aug 21, pics 2&3) and the sandwich was dry, had hardly any meat, the bread was rock hard, and I didnt get the 2 sides of au jus I asked for several times from the inattentive kid working the counter. Couldn't finish it and it went in the trash. I'll give it one more shot since the first experience was so good.

You can always tell the quality of a hot dog joint by the exterior. The rougher the look, the better the meal. BBG is attached to a gas station, and going inside feels like walking back in time. The clientele sitting around trended old and working class like me, which, again, portends great food.
The guys working were irascible and traded barbs freely between taking orders and preparing dogs, hot beef, gyros, and sausage. The guy at the counter was helpful and patient, simultaneously taking my order, a drive through order on his headset, and grabbing sodas for other customers. The cook looked like he could bench press the grill itself, and he had that type of intensity that made me think he’s probably tried to at some point.
I opted for my lifelong favorite: Italian sausage with sweet peppers and red sauce. It was excellent. The sausage was perfectly grilled, the gravy was tangy and robust with a hint of sweetness, and the peppers reminded me of the way my Italian grandfather made them when I was young. The fries were also crispy without being torched or overly greasy, which is no easy feat.
This place was a true delight. I would encourage any and all to stop, but to keep in mind that this place won’t win any interior design awards. It’s not a hipster joint. It’s not a place to impress your in-laws, unless your in-laws love great food at the expense of ambiance.
Can’t wait to go back and try something else.

Loved it! Best burger and fries I've had in awhile and the price was great. Got a cup of free soup(baked potato) which was worth the trip alone. Looks like they are using the drive thru and offer delivery. Atmosphere is fast food style booths and tables.

Great food! My first time there. I had the Italian beef. So tender and delicious. Jambalaya soup was very flavorful. Gentleman behind the counter was super friendly. Definitely going back again and again.

AYCE soup for 4 bucks, or 2 with a sandwich. Loaded baked potato is my favorite, but they rotate daily. For 10 bucks you get to enjoy delicious soup, and take home a gyro ( my recommendation) pretty hard to beat when quality for the price is definitely there. I regularly go, and have never been let down.
PS- The fried potato salad is different, but VERY good!

I am such a huge fan of BBGs... the service the food... everything is top tier. My kids and I have never had a bad experience and look forward to eating there.
I enjoy the Italian and my daughter gets the bacon cheeseburger and my son tries something different everytime. Always great.

Great food. It's become very popular. Need to eat there when owner is around. Due to its popularity the tables tend to be dirty and the pop machine area is cluttered. Started going through the drive through to avoid eating inside. Make sure to order combos vs individual items or you'll pay more. Person at register takes your order and doesn't try and explain the meal difference to save some money. The soda is expensive to make up for the cheaper food prices. Still if you order the meal you save a lot of money and you get a lot of good food.
