Delicious dinner with good service experience from this joint. We ordered: Spice rubbed beef Pork dumpling Buttered lemon garlic prawn Spice rubbed lamb rump All the dishes were delicious, cooked perfectly and the flavor combinations worked! Furthermore we didn’t have to wait too long for the dishes to come. Such a contrast after we had the WORST meal on our holiday at Leonardo’s italian restaurant . Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Very average food especially for the price. Mozzarella balls and jackfruit appetizers were fine, nothing great. The lamb entree was very good, although it took an extremely long time for our order to come out. Will never come back, would rather pay $80 for something that I go “wow! That’s really tasty”. This is the place to go for good food in rotorua. The small plates are a great idea to try various menu items. Best part is, everything on the menu that we tried was amazing. Wow, excellent! Accommodating to celiac / gluten free requirements. Service/staff is insanely fast and good at their jobs. They have a dedicated gluten free fryer for those with celiac (note: I did have some reaction but believe it was the wine, not the food, though can’t be sure). Everything we had tasted great but the star was the halloumi salad for us. It’s really loud if you are seated inside but still good! Booked through first table and had an amazing experience at Atticus Finch. All of the staff were lovely and provided us suggestions. Tried an array of dishes and they were all great. Drinks were average but food was 10/10, no notes. The cauliflower steak and soba salad stood out - you know a place has good food when you don’t need meat to make it. Not to say the pork belly and beef short rib weren’t also excellent… the best food I’ve ever had in Rotorua. Unique and awesome experience. So many veg options. Delicious food. My wife and I loved the Risotto balls (veg), Fried Halloumi (veg), Vegan Dumplings, Mexican Pulled Jackfruit (veg). My boys ate sirloin steak and they loved it. Better than the ribeye steak they ate at Onemata in Auckland (Onemata was good too for the record).
