We recently came here for a quick lunch because we love Greek food and decided to give this place a try. It’s a quaint little restaurant on the end of a strip mall in Roswell. Nothing fancy, but quite homey inside. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the food came out incredibly fast! The gyro wrap was delicious. The meat tasted super fresh and I thought they gave a generous portion of meat. The tzatziki was good, I always get extra because I can never have enough on my gyro wrap. The salad was also good although it lacked a lot of dressing. I would’ve liked more dressing and more olives, but that’s just personal preference! We really enjoyed our lunch here. It was a good place to try for a quick lunch. I would recommend!

I remembered this place fondly and was greatly looking forward to an excellent gyro platter. I am pretty certain that the original owners must have sold the restaurant. My 🥙 was served with Ranch Dressing - not tzatziki! Meat was overcooked. The fries were good and salad 🥗 was okay. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

I have come here for years. Not sure if the ownership changed but I was so disappointed this week. The gyro is now 1/2 the size and the tzatziki sauce is just 80%mayo. Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Clean place with good food and nice owners. I will openly admit that Greek is likely my least favorite food because I’m not a fan of hummus, black olives or feta cheese. My experience begins with Gyros and ends with baklava. 😂 My wife really wanted Greek food tonight and she wanted to try Athens. My gyro was very good and I really liked the baklava because it wasn’t too sweet. She really enjoyed her hummus and Greek salad. If you like Greek food and are in the Roswell area - you really should give this a try. Even I may get adventurous and try something else. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

My family and I were regulars here for decades, but we moved 2 years ago and had not been since before covid lock downs. I'll just say it's not what it used to be. None of the 4 of us finished our meals. The meat was chewy and barely warm, like it was cut yesterday and/or warmed in the microwave. I miss the Greek potatoes that were the wedges, as some of the fries weren't cooked through. It was just disappointing and not up to the 5 star standards how the brothers ran this business for decades. We won't be driving 30min to dine here again. Stopped in with a group of coworkers for dinner at Athens Greek Restaurant. Despite it’s potential unassuming location, the food was fantastic. I tried the Souvlaki Plate with a black cherry soda. This was my first time trying souvlaki and it tasted great. The meat was tender and flavorful. The sauce on top added a great balance. The plate was served with a hearty salad, pita bread, and fries. No complaints across the board. I came hungry and left stuffed. Good portion side, good value, fast and friendly service. Will return when back in the area. First time here, came based on reviews and I was working down the road. Quick, friendly service. Clean dining room. Ordered the gyro platter. Greek fries were really good, hot tasty and fresh. The gyro meat and pita were also good. Not quite mediocre but not banging 5 stars either. The Greek salad however, left a bit to be desired. While it was fresh, it was more of a garden salad (with 2 black olives, not Kalamata as I’m accustomed to), and very little to no dressing. I frequent this establishment at least once a month. Without fail, when I ask for a CHICKEN Gyro, I always end up with lamb. Yesterday (9/8/2023) was no different, I immediately checked it and had to hand it back to the young man at the register. While waiting for my correct order, I checked my fries and they were hardly warm. I asked him for FRESH fries and when he gave them to the Spanish lady behind the cook counter, she very loudly said.."what, these are fresh". I was shocked! It was utterly rude and extremely unprofessional. Then again, it wasn't like I was at Chops Lobster bar so what do you expect right?! I wasn't asking for money back and I didn't even make a big deal, I simply asked for FRESH, HOT food that my money paid for. Nonetheless she took my fries, dropped them back in grease and had the "manager" pass them to me as "new". I threw the entire meal away and left. I will be sure to NEVER spend another dollar at this establishment and will recommend that my dealership no longer supports buying lunch for our staff here as well, as we often do. I have been going to this restaurant for years and years. My last 2 visits have been so disappointing. The quality has gone down hill. The food tasted old and was very dried out. The surley guy at the counter didnt help, nor the young woman at the counter, on my previous visit,that didnt know what they sell despite there being a picture of it on the wall! I am going to wait awhile before I return to see if they can turn things around. I certainly would love to see it return to what it used to be. Have they changed ownership or management?
