On my solo travel across Portugal, and Silves, I bumped into this tiny restaurant in the small local town. Woah. The food is amazing! So delicious. I took 3 tapas and there were enough and everything felt super fresh and genuine. I really really recommend this restaurant. Prices are all right, in line with many others and also considering the actual economy in the world after the recent 3 years. Very good food, kind waitress. The prices in the picture are outdated - we had a burger for 13/14€ (still awesome tho). Loved it, loved it, loved it!!! Staff was friendly and our waiter even knew some Dutch words. They accomodated us in our food wishes. We asked them what their specialty was and they weren’t mistaken. Warm, intimate, well-decorated cafe with friendly family service…we found the street location and table by window a perfect setting for our break-from-touring lunch. Our hostess guided us on our order of veggie plates and a Portuguese steak to get what our stomachs wanted. The indoor space was compact, yet well designed to give each table a private experience. The steak was the best I had on our trip. It was hot with juice soaking into the chips (fries). My partner had the delicious stuffed mushrooms and a small veggie salad. We were surrounded by happy tourists from various countries and our meal was a pleasing experience.

Loved this place, my wife has already 5* it, it is everything about a relaxed simple lunch we need. Nice location on a small back road down from the castle, great selection on the menu without being over ambitious. Very quick service from a pleasant young lady..the food was delivered nicely presented and we sat back watching the stork (I think it was) flying back and forth from its nest high above. Great mid afternoon spent with a couple of drinks also. I recommend that you try this relaxed venue it's laid back and popular. Thanks for the experience. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch

Nice food with lovely vegetarian and vegan options. Some of the dishes were actually great (the goat cheese tapas) but others didn't convince us (one of the rice bowls and the burger). They weren't bad, but didn't live up to the expectations (especially after the lovely tapa) and the price. This restaurant is awesome! My partner and I were staying in Silves and it was walking distance from the hotel. The server spoke good English and it was easy to order. My partner is Vegan but I wanted fish. It was very easy at Atelier 47. We shared the wedge potatoes and the garlic parsley fried mushrooms for an appetizer. They were delicious! My partner got the vegan Portuguese style tofu and I got the fresh shrimp skewer. We shared a get bottle of Vinho Verde. We were even able to get some pastries for breakfast the next day on the house. The price was great for the quality of food. I would highly recommend!
